My first visit to Hyderabad House in Alabama. I’ve previously been to the one in Atlanta (not sure if they’re part of the same franchise), so I was curious to try this location.
Since it was Navratri, I went with vegetarian options – the Paneer Tikka Kabab and Paneer Karaikudi. Both dishes were good overall – nothing extraordinary, but definitely enjoyable. The kababs were nicely presented, and the green chutney served with them was a great match. The curry, however, looked a bit dull and had a very generic taste.
I did takeout this time, but the restaurant interior looked beautiful, clean and well-decorated, with a cozy atmosphere. It seems like a great place to dine in with friends or family.
Looking forward to coming back and trying their non-veg items, which hyderabad house is really known for.

I’m writing this review after visiting regularly for six months biryani is a ridiculous year. If you want to disappoint yourself, you can have Biriyani. I just had a biryani where I got boiled chicken pieces. Mixed with the biryani, rice and chicken pieces were literally cold.
Preparing rice, separate, and chicken separate, and when you order a chicken biryani, they just mix together and bring to your table
Chicken 65 is really good
The deserts are really good but I don’t understand why there is a breads pieces in dry fruit rabdhi I think they want to make it look filled or fuller
Dosa are 3 out of 5
Mandhi 3 out of 5 (I had the same experience like Biryani rice was hot and chicken quarter legs were cold)
The Chinese is good 4 out of 5, but I’m so sad and mad about Biriyani that I gave them one star you tried there any Biryani, which will taste next to the pulav
I tried all the specialist Biryani’s on weekend, even they are almost same. Nothing special about it.puspa biryani is like chicken 65 covered with rice
Best part about this, Restaurant is the girls are very good. They are respectable, always smiling, always welcoming.

Tried the mutton biryani and fried rice here – both were excellent.
The biryani was fragrant, with perfectly cooked rice and tender mutton that melted in the mouth

I’ve tried Butter Chicken across the country, and this version is in my top three. The gravy was luxuriously silky, rich with tomato and cream, and had a beautiful balance of spices. The chicken was tender and plentiful. We ordered extra Garlic Naan just to ensure not a drop was wasted. Pure, unadulterated comfort.

We tried both the Veg and Chicken Sambar Rice. Both were outstanding. The sambar itself was tangy, spicy, and packed with vegetables (or tender chicken). Mixed with the rice, it created the ultimate comforting one-bowl meal. It’s hearty, flavorful, and feels wholesome. Great value and taste.

On a chilly day, the Goat Shorba was exactly what I needed. This wasn’t just a broth; it was a deeply flavorful, nourishing soup infused with the essence of goat and aromatic spices. It felt medicinal in the best way possible—warming and revitalizing. A unique and wonderful starter I’ll order every time.

Rayalaseema Kodi Vepudu is not for the faint of heart, and I loved it! The chicken was fried with a multitude of spices, curry leaves, and chilies, creating an aromatic and fiery dish that was impossible to put down. It’s bold, authentic Andhra cuisine that makes your taste buds sing. Paired with a plain rice, it was absolutely perfect.

If you love true Andhra cuisine, this is your spot. The Ulavacharu Kodi Vepudu, with its horse gram flavor, and the fiery Andhra Goat Curry are dishes of bold character. They don’t shy away from spice or authentic technique. My Andhra friend said it tasted like home. The highest compliment.

The Kottu Parotta Veg was so much fun to eat! Hearing the rhythmic chopping from the kitchen was part of the experience. The shredded parotta was stir-fried with veggies and spices into a savory, hearty scramble. It’s interactive, delicious street food right at your table. A must for something different.
