Reviews
This review is for the villa park location, I don’t know why google keeps putting it in the wrong location.
Highlights:
1. Mutton Biryani – Absolutely delicious, aromatic, and rich in flavor. A must-try.
2. Chicken Biryani – Equally impressive; well-balanced spices and generous portions.
3. Haleem – Outstanding. Best enjoyed fresh and hot on-site. Perfect texture and seasoning.
4. Chicken Fry – Packed with flavor but very spicy. I usually handle heat well, but this pushed my limits. Ask about spice levels if you’re sensitive.
5. Chicken 65 – Similar to the Chicken Fry in both spice and intensity; bold and fiery.
Ambience:
Very much in the style of Old City Hyderabad — modest, functional, and focused on food over decor. Not fancy, but well worth it for the flavors.
⚡ Service:
Fast and efficient. Orders come out quickly, even during busy hours.
Important Notes:
• Cash only — no cards accepted. There is an ATM on-site.
• Bring your own water or plan to purchase bottled water there.
Verdict:
Incredible value for money — excellent portions, authentic taste, and very affordable compared to many overhyped restaurants. If you’re in Chicago and craving real Hyderabadi cuisine, this place should be on your list.
Ambiance 5/5
Food 4/5 (very close to authentic taste but not balanced spices makes it bitter)
And for someone who eats rice on a daily basis I can say that I the rice I received in the biryani was stale, it was sticky, it smelled, it was just bad extremely bad.
The chicken tandoori smelled bad as well.
They forgot my sweet pan. I am not going to taste the haleem.
The place used to serve really great food but I guess not anymore
Much to my disappointment I just wasted $30 or $40 on stale food.
I should’ve ordered from Nawabi Hyderabadi House at Schaumburg for decent food rather than eating here.
Seriously WHYYYY did I think I need to eat this stale food
