The service was personable and attentive throughout the evening. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with low lighting and a moderate noise level that creates a comfortable, upscale ambiance. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Next time, if the prime rib is not cooked rare as requested, I will send it back.
Service was timed perfectly.
Great service Kortney!!
We started with appetizers of jumbo shrimp cocktail and calamari.
1957 Salads
The Herf and Surf was perfectly cooked.
Dessert was carrot cake.
Our waitress Jennifer was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was relatively quite with classic rock playing.
Somewhat unemployed at the time so didn’t go all our on steaks but my wife’s whiskey medallion was tender and delicious. My county fried chicken had good breading and thicker meat (not smashed flat like some places) the not country gravy was good. We mixed up the sides and had whipped potatoes, scalloped potatoes, green beans, and gouda corn; also all very good.
Of course finished it off with gooey butter cake with bourbon peaches. SWEET and tasty.
I would certainly recommend for a date night.
The star of the show was their prime rib: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to a flawless medium-rare with that melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. It was carved right at the table, and each bite was bursting with rich, savory flavors that paired beautifully with the horseradish cream on the side. Then there was the turkey—moist and flavorful, not a hint of dryness, roasted with herbs that gave it a homey, comforting taste. And don’t get me started on the mashed potatoes! Creamy, buttery perfection with just the right amount of garlic and a smooth texture that made them irresistible. They were piled high and served piping hot, the ideal complement to the meats.
The portions were generous, the service was attentive and friendly, and the overall value was unbeatable for a holiday meal. If you’re looking for a stress-free Thanksgiving feast that feels indulgent yet traditional, Hereford House nails it. I’ll definitely be back next year—highly recommend!
