Tried this Hyderabad café for their Khatti Dal,Chicken Makhni Kebab and Hyderabadi biryani on a Wednesday eve. The food was tasty served right from the oven and authentic, but the service was quite slow. We were told the Malai Chicken would take 25 minutes, which was fine, but after that only the chicken arrived. The rest of the order came out piece by piece, and it took over 45 minutes for everything to reach the table.

The biggest letdown was the Mango lassi — it tasted sour and stale. Staff did remove it from the bill, but it spoiled the vibe. On the bright side, the dal and Authentic Hyderabadi biryani were flavorful, and the staff was polite. With fresher drinks and quicker service, this café could be a great spot for Hyderabad comfort food. In short , a good place in Stoney creek to enjoy desi flavourful food in nice ambiance.

I am a regular customer and I always order chicken boneless biriyani from your restaurant. This time, I found something extremely disturbing in the biriyani. I immediately called and even sent pictures as proof.

Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, I was told to drive 25 minutes to return the biriyani. Why should I waste my time, fuel, and money for your mistake?

What made this worse was the attitude. I was told “we have cooking videos and nothing like this exists in our kitchen.” If that’s true, then from where did it come from my biriyani? Food does not magically get contaminated.

Their masala dosa has one of the best fillings I’ve had—rich in flavor and perfectly spiced.

However, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The sambar was too watery, and the excessive use of cilantro overpowered the dish. I usually enjoy cilantro, but this was far too much—it masked the actual taste.

The worst part was finding a hair in the chutney, which was extremely off-putting and unhygienic.

Had a great experience at Hyderabad Cafe! The place was clean and welcoming, and the staff were super helpful with food recommendations. I ordered the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and Karam Gobi—both dishes were flavorful and came in generous portions. I went with my sister and we couldn’t even finish it all!

Since we’re not used to very spicy food, they kindly offered us extra curd (raita) at no extra cost, which was a nice touch. One of the staff even offered us gulab jamun for leaving a review, and a sweet Muslim girl working there gave us Iranian chai—she was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to.

Overall, amazing food, great service, and good vibes. Definitely coming back with friends and family!

I ordered a Chicken Ghee Roast Biryani and a Mutton Ghee Roast Biryani from Hyderabad Café, and it was honestly one of the worst biryanis I’ve ever had — and I’ve had well over a thousand. The server was rude right from the start. I specifically asked for mild spice, but both dishes were extremely hot. Each biryani had only a couple of small pieces of meat and was 95% just rice. Totally disappointing experience — definitely not worth the price or the hype.

Great place to dine! The food is authentic and so good. I loved the biriyani, chai, desserts (mango pudding, apricot pudding) and the appetizers are also great. Location is also good, and price is reasonable – interior is well decorated. I recommend checking this out if you’re in the area !

Absolutely loved the food at Hyderabad Cafe Hamilton! The Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani was flavorful and authentic, and the Chicken Chintamani had the perfect spice kick. The Hariyali Paneer Tikka was fresh and delicious.

For dessert, the Double Ka Meetha was rich and satisfying. Their Mango Lassi is easily one of the best I’ve had in the GTA, and the chai is a must-try. Great flavors, generous portions, and friendly service , highly recommend!

Absolutely loved my experience at Hyderabad Cafe! As a fan of authentic Indian cuisine. We started with a variety of delicious chicken 65 and paneer appetizers. The roti shahi paneer was a standout, creamy and rich. And the biryani was mouthwatering, with perfectly cooked rice and tender meat. The service was friendly and attentive.. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors in Hamilton
