Returned for lunch and enjoyed the delicious Shrimp Platter with Tots and Slaw. Service was again awesome just as it was during my last visit! I received my food quickly, and it was hot, fresh and delicious Both Restaurant and Restrooms were clean! Another great visit!
This is a wonderful restaurant full of color, nostalgia and some of the kindest servers and cooks you will find anywhere! We went right in and chose our table, there was no wait, and our server Janelle came right over promptly. We ordered a Cheesteak meal with Gravy Tots and a Hamburger Steak Plate with Onion Rings. We had a very short wait for our food, you can see the cooks working and they are focused and committed! Our food was served hot and with a smile, our cups never went empty, and both our server as well as a member of the cooking staff checked up on us, I have no negatives here, it was a great experience! Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean and a great Sanitation Grade as well, Doug runs a wonderful restaurant and we will be back!!

The thing that stuck out the most at this place was the service. I honestly cannot remember the last time I visited a place and had service like this where everybody just knew each other and the staff was calling out customers as they were walking in and making sure everybody was greeted and seated. So I enjoyed my meal with buddies after a long hunt that day. However I had the need to use the restroom in the worst way. It took awhile and I didn’t know my buddies paid the bill and left to meet me later. I found myself in the bathroom with no toilet paper. My buddies had all left and I was forced to call the restaurant for assistance. I could hear the phone ringing for about a minute before someone answered. Then a girl answered and asked me how she could help me. I told her that I was in desperate need for toilet paper in the bathroom. She hung up and then I heard this girl yell out loud in the restaurant that toilet paper was needed in the men’s bathroom. I had been sitting in the front of the business and had walked past 30 folks to the bathroom and I was alone. An employee did bring me a commercial roll of toilet paper and I was relieved to receive it. I waited a few minutes and then quickly walked out the side door of hhe restaurant. I also found no way to dry my hands after washing them there………..

We stopped for a quick dinner. Mike made me a special salad. I ordered the fried chicken salad and he suggested a sauce with some squeezed lemon. When he first brought it out I was a little hesitant because they cooked the cucumbers and tomatoes a tiny bit when they sauced up my chicken but oh my this salad didn’t need any dressing it was so delicious. Mike was an attentive server and I am really happy he suggested this new salad.
