I’d love nothing more than to give this place five stars but I just can’t bring myself to do it. It’s not fair to all the other well-rounded eateries out there. The decor is fresh and clean, we were pleasantly surprised. The menu was diverse and offered plenty to choose from, in fact it has us waffling between a couple of no-lose options. Food came out pretty quick and tasted good. So what’s the rub? The service. Sadly, our server was quite good, she was friendly and attentive. The issue we had was some of the other staff. We were seated near the kitchen, but I’m not sure it mattered, a couple of servers were in a heated dispute nearly our entire visit. They continually yelling at each other every time they would disappear to the kitchen. Things being slammed around and at one point they were so wound up we were waiting for a fist fight to break out. Beyond that, the bad attitude carried itself out to the floor as they were openly criticizing and complaining about guests when leaving the other tables and walking around the front of house. I get it, some patrons are jerks. I don’t know the details, but that comes with the territory. Disappointing that these servers didn’t have the self awareness to realize their behavior was unprofessional. Even worse that their co-workers didn’t try and deescalate the situation over the 35+ minutes they continued to carry on. Inexcusable that the management didn’t immediately put an end to it. Heck, for all we know it might have been management that was carrying on. Regardless, ownership should take note, as it seems the common thread to anything other then glowing 5 star reviews ties back to your people issues. Great little dinning spot, service seems to be hit and miss. Sadly our first visit was a resounding miss (unless you’re a breakfast MMA fan, I suppose).

Stopped in for the first time with my GF. We both loved it. Service was great the food homemade by the husband and wife. They are very proud of the food they cook. It’s not just a job for them. It matters. You don’t find that in many places anymore. Do yourself a favor and try whatever is the special.

Just went here for lunch. The people who owned Fiona’s at a different location that closed 2 years ago has purchased The Recipe Box and for now there’s a banner saying Fiona’s. They just opened yesterday, July 1st. We ate past 1pm and the place was still half full on a Tuesday! The food was marvelous! Largest club sandwich I’ve had! Their sweet potato fries are delightful and their prices are very reasonable. You need to try this place. Recipe Box menu through the summer and then they’ll be adding some of their own. Staff are very nice and helpful. We will return!!

I visted on a Sunday afternoon for a lovely lunch with my family. The food was delicious, flavorful, and had great presentation. Service was prompt and everyone was very friendly. Great experience and will definitely return to try more of their tasty menu items.
