Stay far away from this business – maybe they will close this location due to the scams going on here. I have reported my problem to the Hwy 55 Corporate HQ and to Consumer Protection Division in Raleigh.
Menu price was $8.29, the employee rang up the sale for $10.00 plus tax = $10.70. I showed the employee the price on the menu I ordered from, but they refused to honor that contract price. Rather than call the police and file a complaint over a $2.00 scam, I paid and left. My receipt is dated 12/22/25 at 1:03 pm. Check #32, Server: alexis C.
There is nothing on the printed menu for $10.00 !

Went in to order. The girl with the blonde hair and piercings took my to go order. I asked for menu. She acted like it was a bother. Anyway., ordered Andy’s burger combo and a cheesesteak. She didn’t ask what drink I wanted or if I wanted fries. I had call her back and tell her tots instead of fries. She came back twice and asked what drink did I say…. Smh. Then they put the cheesesteak on the plate with the fries and burger by itself. What purpose if writing it down if you can’t remember? Anyway, won’t be back – mainly because of the service.

Love this place! As a baby boomer, it takes me back, and I get a kick out of the music and 50’s decor. The menu is simple fare, but deliciously prepared, and very reasonably priced. Great if you’re looking for a quick bite or some old fashioned comfort food. They have 30 different kinds of Shakes! Our server was delightful! Very friendly, helpful, fast and efficient. I did not use the restroom, but the restaurant over all was very clean. So I imagine that carried over to the restroom as well.

I was very disappointed and still hungry after visiting this location. They brought me half the food I ordered and there portions are all ready small so what I was brought wouldn’t have filled a child let alone a man . I know the waiter got my order right because of course it was on my bill . Yet it never made it to my table . I will not return.

Ordered three burgers and two fries, take out. The fries were $2.25 each. All was made to order and fresh. Burgers were ok, very skimpy on the mustard and chili, actually could not even taste any at all. Tasted like a plain burger. Both orders of fries were very very small. I paid over $25 that looked like a $12 dollar meal. Including picture of fries in the wrap they used, then with one order on my plate.
No hurry to go back to this location.

Ordered shrimp platter, which states “shrimp, tots or fries, bread, and slaw.” Wife and I both ordered same. We got 7 tater tots each (small at that). I asked waitress about it, and she says I got a half order, because I got slaw. Huh? Nope. It doesn’t say or imply half order and it isn’t supposed to be. She couldn’t care less. That’s fine. It’ll be a long time if ever that I go back there. Greed kills customer loyalty.

I usually try not to be critical as we all can have bad days but, what has happened to this place? This was one of our favorite places to go as a family and slowly it has been going down but today the service was verging on nonexistent. The food was ok but was surprised at the portion size and the lack of presentation with it. And they weren’t even that busy. This makes me so sad
