My first brave venture into the culinary desert, which is Edna, I came in with low expectations. I left feeling really impressed and satisfied!
The food here was lovely! Orange chicken is usually prepared too sweet for me, but this one was the perfect balance of flavors. Not to sweet, delicate orange notes, moist chicken. But what I loved most was the presentation; it wasn’t just slapped onto a plate. My bowl felt very orderly and deliberate, and I greatly valued that.
The service was .. serviceable.I appreciated their service. Nothing extraordinary, but it’s what you’d expect.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention at least one thing I found strange about one of their menu options. Strap yourself down if you’re jumpy and have a weak constitution because this may surprise you: Chicken Nuggets and Fried Rice (see pictured here). Has American-Chinese cuisine gone too far? Take a Wok on the wild side.

Y’all normally I’m from Houston and I be having h-towns food on me but theirs was AWESOME! and I mean it like food tasted so good it made me fall asleep! I recommend this if it’s ur first time coming here or if ur out of town okayyyy!

Went in to get takeout and was pleased. The food tasted great, and the vegetables used in my kung po shrimp were so fresh. When we asked for a few egg rolls on the side the cashier made sure we knew the meals we just ordered already had an egg roll which I thought was so considerate and thoughtful. Would like to stop by again in the future to try other things on the menu if we are passing through Edna.

I’ve driven by this place over the last several years and just doesn’t look that appealing from the outside, but I had a hankering for Chinese food one day and checked the reviews on this place.
Trust the other reviews. Like many have said, it has a very unassuming appearance on the outside, but their food is wonderful.
I’ve tried the Hot and Spicy Chicken and also the Hunan Chicken, which neither of which were near as spicy as I would prefer, but they both had excellent flavor.
My wife only gets the General Tso’s Chicken. To her it’s too good that she doesn’t feel like trying anything else.
Fair warning upfront, the meals are a little heavier on the veggies than the meat, which is my only real knock, but that seems to be just about most places.
Oh, and get the crab rangoons. They’re excellent.
They’re very fast at cooking up the orders as well.

This will most likely be the best Chinese food you’ve ever had. The crab rangoons were out of this world! The place is a little small but I’ll take that every day over a big beautiful restaurant with mediocre food. We stop here Every time we’re in Edna and it never disappoints!

i ordered togo and i had this screw/nail of some sort in my rice this is not acceptable …and i called and told them and they said there is no way it came from there restaurant ,like for real they just lost one of there best customers this is rediculous .

I always get my order to go but the cashier is always friendly and the food is on point with a portion size that’s also a great value for your dollar every visit for me has left me feeling good about having gone there I’m tearing up some noodles as I type this and they are…delicious two thumbs up I also like a little spicy and they will make any of their dishes spicy if you request it that’s a plus in my book.

Great food! It looks like a hole in the wall but the place is very clean. The fried rice was cooked perfectly. The general tso had an awesome flavor without being too overpowering. The chicken lo mein was cooked absolutely perfectly with a great flavor. The egg rolls and crab ragoon were cooked perfectly without being greasy. The crab ragoon was creamy and delicious. I definitely will be going back and I definitely recommend this restaurant!

There isn’t much to choose from in our tiny little hometown, but China Wok stands out from the crowd. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and fast with your orders and my order is 100% accurate every single time. I highly recommend the General Tso’s and Combination Lo Mein, but you truly can’t go wrong with any dish on their menu.
