While visiting WVA my wife and I stopped by Husson’s Pizza – South Charleston to try one of their pizza’s. This was our first time at Husson’s Pizza and I haven’t seen any of these out west where I live so, it was a new experience for us. The prices are good, the food, service, and the employees were awesome!

After having a terrible experience with Gino’s pizza in Dunbar. I got a pizza from here. It was hot tasty and the staff was super friendly. The lady that was the manager on duty was very accommodating, even after there was a mishap with their online ordering. They have been having trouble with their Internet due to work on the road crossing at Jefferson.? The pizza was awesome! Keep up the good work!

Ordered pizza and cheese sticks for takeout. They were ready for pick up within about 10 minutes. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while. Their bread is delicious.
I like that they have those mini 6″ pizzas, avoids ending up with too much food.
They also have a big menu with lots to choose from. (gluten free options, veggie/vegetarian and thin crust).

I don’t know how many times we’ve driven by Hussons and never stopped. Now, we have a new pizza spot. We ordered a big coupon deal for the Superbowl and they were nice enough to change the pepperoni to sausage for.me since I don’t like pepperoni. I think the salad was my favorite part. A ton of cheese with crisp, fresh lettuce, peppers, tomatoes and ham. The pizza reminded me of Costco’s pizza and I’m not saying that’s a bad thing at all because that’s actually what I miss the most about not having a Costco in WV. Anyway, we’ll be back to try some sandwiches pretty soon.

My father’s family is from Clarksburg, WV; I grew up on Italian food. My wife is Italian. The upshot is, we know pizza, and Hudson’s really has the goods. And what’s also amazing is they text me weekly with offers and contacts. Today I won a large pizza and for free it was AMAZING. The right balance of sauce, semolina and toasted crust. And to boot, the most polite place in a world where businesses try to get you in and get you out.
FINAL SUMMATION: We’re going back and eating their food with a bottle of good Bardolino.

We placed our order last night through the online ordering. Waited the amount of time needed and my husband went to pick it up and they could not find the ticket/order. It was found they put it on the line and then he had to sit there and wait for it to be put in. This was our first experience with their online ordering.
We had ordered a small double pepperoni pizza, a cheese stick plus bacon, a large ham and cheese salad (I added turkey to it), and their new Pizza bowl (meat monster).
My salad was great but they had forgotten the ranch dressing (I was out at home). I had to drive back over there to get the dressing that was supposed to be with the salad. The salad was actually great once I got the dressing. I had turkey added to it and I will definitely do that again. With their online ordering you can add an array of toppings but it is extra. Their Pizza bowls are a bit pricey for the size. This is the second time that I’ve gotten one and it was okay. I had the monster meat one. As you can see based on the size it’s small. I had ordered a salad with it so that I had enough to eat lol. I absolutely prefer Marco’s Pizza and their Pizza bowls over Husson’s.
My husband and daughter were pleased with the pizza and the cheese sticks. We will order again from them because they are so close to our house. Next time I will just make sure I’m checking the bags to make sure we have all the condiments before leaving.

Never disappointing. HUGE pizzas, salads fresh and packed with ingredients other than just a bunch of lettuce. Delivery way faster than you get with DD or GH.

And Everyone ……these are big pies for the size. Just like they advertised. No way the wife and I can even come close to finishing a medium. I know what I am having for breakfast now…..lol.

I miss Hussons so much, being from Huntington ours has long been gone. But when I know I will be near one I always have to pick up an order! My cheesesticks were delicious from this location !!
