This was just ridiculous service on Saturday Jan 3rd at Breakfast time (9:30 AM). We were sat immediately which would indicate that they were not busy. However, our waitress took at least 20 mins to greet us and when we gave her our drink and food order to save time that was wasted. We waited and waited for 10 mins and decided this just was not going to work out. As we were putting our jackets on to leave she comes up with 2 teas in to go cups asking if we would like them. No thank you it seems you were already planning to ignore us when our food arrived. We will most likely not be back for awhile because the service was just absolutely bizarre.

Placed a DoorDash order for this location tonight. Food was good, however it was incorrect. We were missing our 2 Large Sweet teas and the sides on one of the platters were completely incorrect. We received the handwritten ticket in the bag with the order written incorrectly. So just a suggestion, don’t rewrite electronically submitted orders. Make those orders viewable in the kitchen, or print it.

We got there a Lil after 1pm we ordered chicken and a fish sandwich both were cold..when our waitress finally.came we told her our food was cold.. not only did she sigh but she rolled her eyes.. when she bought out more chicken her response was .if thats not hot enough I don’t know what to tell you.. Definitely not the response i expected.. we didn’t eat any of our food.. I was already at the register waiting on the receipt.. ibpaid for food that we didn’t even eat..

Wanted broasted Chicken so we came here. Ordered a 2 piece white meat. Got one chicken breast and one wing. It was okay, my first experience was better. Also wanted a hotdog, it was good. Baked beans were really delicious. Service was excellent.

The chicken looks and tastes like it has been fried several times in burn tasting oil to keep it hot.
It’s super salty and dry. Sides were missing
It was supposed come with fries and slaw but they only put some hush puppies
Save the trouble and money and go somewhere else, there is 3 more chicken places in Main Street that serve wayyy better chicken!!!

Great southern food & the young lady who took our order was very friendly. The meat came right off the bone on those slab of ribs. The BBQ sauce was delicious. I’m definitely coming back when I’m in town from Chicago.

I’ve seen the billboards but never stopped here. I am so glad I did. We went around 230 so they were slow but the food was delicious and wait staff was friendly and attentive. Not sure how it fares during busy times but I will definitely be back. Great food and a fair price.

Hurseys bar-b-q has officially lost me as a customer. I’ve been a loyal customer for more than 40 years from the restaurant in
k marts parking lot on maple Ave. I’ve complained several times about how their chicken breast aren’t much bigger than a competitors chicken wing! Family meal number 1 for 30 dollars!!! Never again RIP Hurseys you’ll be there soon enough!

Camping Fan
I know this is going to make a few people unhappy, but here it goes. I do not know how this place is still in business. The food is served cold and extremely greasy. So greasy I had to wipe the chicken off with napkins. So bad the fries felt like I was eating a solid form of grease. It really is a shame that people think this is good food.
Update, tried it again today. Showed up at 1020 I was told we would have to wait for the menu change. 45 minutes later, we were served the worst excuse for BBQ ever. This has to be leftovers from last week. This looks like someone ate this already.
