1. Stale chicken fried and drizzled with pepper and served as peppers chicken.
2. Going Pomfret fish was no way close. Chef doesn’t know what is Konkan/Goan malasa.

If food is not fresh it can be politely to its not available rather than serving stale food.

The staff here is great. Dinner was phenomenal we got all kinds of different foods but best was the special dosa they have here.

They were able to accommodate different diet needs for everyone. Will come again.

Zabiha!!! & under new management! A-mazing food. Got saag paneer, chicken makhani, roti and chicken biryani. Not everyone can get saag paneer right but this place really hit the right notes of thickness, color and flavor. Chicken makhani had a thick texture and was extremely delicious. My friend and I were amazed at the choices of ice cream which included a very colorful pan flavor where you can taste and crunch the liquorish. Would definitely make another trip here ! Service was very quick and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Sitting area is available outdoors due to COVID. By the way! Chicken biryani comes with egg! I haven’t seen this outside of NYC but here!

Fantastic! I have been getting food from Hurry Chutney weekly for over a year and they have consistently made outstanding meals. As a vegetarian, the number of options are unbelievable. As an avid fan of Indian fare, I have tried most of the Indian restaurants in the area. Only Hurry Chutney has my repeat business. Highly recommended. Yes, they may be busy and the meals may take some time to make. However, I think a busy restaurant is a pretty good indication that they are a good restaurant. So, plan accordingly and be glad you did. It’s well worth it!

Not as good as it once was. We used to go all the time and loved the food and everything about that place, but since the changes well… not so much. The food was okay I guess, but it lacked all the spice that we love about Indian food! Cloth table clothes, cloth napkins, real glasses are not improvements. Bring back the pitchers of water that you grab for yourself out of the cooler. We don’t want a “fine dining” experience… we want our old Hurry chutney” back. Especially the good spicy food they way it once was. Signed… Searching for a new Indian restaurant.

I was amazed at how good their saag paneer was. I’ve ordered this many times before and this one was the best I’ve had. Their briyani was also exceptional and not killer spicy so I actually got to enjoy it. Also loved their pan ice cream. Would definitely come back here.

The management has changed a few months ago and so has the taste of the food. It’s not as good as it used to be. Not even close.
The Chicken fried rice used to be my favorite here but now it’s inedible. For 12 bucks it’s a joke. The new management is buying inferior quality rice to start with and the chef doesn’t know what he’s doing. The rice was doused with ketchup .
Was my go to spot but sorry to say I am not going back after giving the new management and chef 2 tries.

The food quality really need to be improved. they added too much color in chicken lolly pop, and its really scary to eat. Even the meat is not that fresh. Also the mutton curry and side rice both packed in same box, the curry is all spilled over the rice. I am not sure about the other recipes. But i am very disappointed

Great food for great prices! Portions are slightly smaller than expected but food is traditional and very flavorful! They have classics and more adventurous dishes for all types of people. You can regulate spice and any ingredient because everything is made fresh! They also serve Indian sweets good for anything from Diwali to Navratri. Highly recommend!
