Not a review of the cafe, but a review of the coffee rather: I got a bag of theirs at the grocery store, and I was looking forward to trying it. A local roaster, easy to get locally, etc. The price was around $15 for a 12oz back, so you’d think you’re getting a great product. This coffee is essentially some Folger’s beans, masquerading as a much higher quality coffee. I got the Colorado Organic blend, and it was some of the worst coffee I’ve had in quite some time. It should be listed amongst the Dunkin an Starbucks bagged coffee, and sit around $9/bag for the quality you’re getting, and absolutely not $15.

Food always tastes fresh and delicious here. But the turnover, my gosh. You hardly see the same barista and I overheard this morning from one of them “It’s too early for this crap” I think the new ones need to be trained better on how to make a proper latte, as I paid for a 16 oz and got essentially a 12, since the top 4 ounces of the to go cup was filled with foam.

The atmosphere and the care of the staff is amazing. We ordered bagels with ham, cheese and avocado and they were delicious. The coffee is amazing and the vibe is great. Coming to this place in the mornings with your laptop is also a great idea. Highly recommend if you are in Arvada!

This coffee shop is nestled right in the middle of Olde Towne Arvada. It is such an adorable location. They do roast their own coffee. I bought a bag of the Costa Rican blend, and it was fabulous. I come in for iced lattes multiple times during the Archtop Guitar Festival, and they are always a hit. They have a large selection of breakfast too!

Really cool looking coffee shop and good pricing on drinks not food. And their coffee is like crack. If youre looking for something to wake you up. But! Their coffee is bland almost like this weird dry aftertaste. Even though its super caffinated id rather go to bluegrass down the street for flavor. If you order a hot latte from hunter bay its going to be extra foamy, more foamy and less cared for than any other coffee shop in Oldetown. I can always tell when I go in that they dont care or bother to care for a cup of coffee a classy shop would. But its like crack coffee so why should they. Coffee is supposed to wake you up not taste good right?

Arrived mid afternoon and spent over an hour working at one of the tables near the entrance.

Ordered a spicy dirty chai latte ($6.50), which came in a to go cup (I didn’t clarify and not sure if they do regular mugs or not, but tend to enjoy the option when dining in). The barista warned me that spicy was indeed spicy, and she was correct. Overall, I like spicy so enjoyed it still.

The ambiance of the place is good for working or small talk with a friend. The music volume is low and reasonable, with ample seating including a small outdoor patio area.

Staff was friendly and seem to have fun amongst each other, which always adds positive energy to the room when getting work done.

I’ll gladly come back here for coffee and work.

I have friends who live in Arvada and every time I come down to visit them or stay over to cats it while they’re away I always go here. The workers are super nice, great customer service, nice atmosphere and music. The coffee and espresso tastes really nice (strong but not bitter and roasted but not burnt like ⭐️ ) they have really good flavored syrups (sweet but not too sugary), they use ku cha house tea which is SO good, and their sandwiches are really tasty, fresh, and good portions for the price!

I love Dr. Suess but please, no green eggs and ham for me.

Yes the scramble eggs are green…

I saw the Tupperware full of precooked green eggs on the counter… not very appetizing. Is it that hard to fry an egg? Idk

All I got was a bagel, which was good. This is definitely the friendlier and nicer space of the 2 coffee shops in Old Town Arvada.

Fun atmosphere and a good location in Olde Town Arvada. I like a dark roast that is full bodied…the coffee could have been a little stronger so next time I’ll try a different drink….i had a 1/2 caf drip.
