Today was our first visit, we got appetizers and dessert (thank you!) and tbh I am ready to go head right back for some entrees. Everything was A+ fantastic. Can’t wait to go back. The staff are very friendly and it was an overall great experience. I’m so happy to have found good Vietnamese food in McAlester. Pictured are potstickers, shrimp rockets, and blueberry rangoon.

I can’t say enough good things about this place, Hungry Lotus! Everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious — the shrimp curry was rich and flavorful and the chicken stir fry… wow. So fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor!!!
You can really taste the love and care in every dish. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and my friends running it are just the sweetest!!
If you haven’t tried them yet, definitely go check out this Vietnamese food cart — you won’t be disappointed!

This is some of the best Vietnamese food I have ever had! The banh mi and the broken rice were INSANE! So good! And the folks who run the truck are super nice. Definitely check this place our! I will be back every time I am in Mcalester!!

Alright, what can I say about this food?!?! It. Was. Amazing. The banh mi was great, bread was crispy, meat was tender and flavored perfectly. The vegetables were crunchy. The fried pork egg rolls were fabulous . The brocken rice was, again, amazing. Just great. They make their marinades and sauces. The vegetables were cut into cute patterns. I can not say enough about this food.

The side of the Hungry Lotus truck says the food is “made with love”, and I think that might actually be the secret ingredient. Tam’s food is as delicious as she is kind, and I have never ordered anything she’s made that I wouldn’t order again. So grateful to have them in our community!

I don’t have any pictures sadly because we ate everything so quickly! You can tell they are very passionate about what they do, it really shows in the amazing food! We tried the pork Banh mi, vermicelli noodle plate, beef stir fry noodles and a chocolate banana egg roll dessert. Everything was top notch, they have a homemade sauce with the crab rangoons that is different from any sweet and sour I’ve tried and it was delicious! They were super nice as well! We can’t wait to go back, honestly probably one of the best banh mi I’ve ever had, the pickled onions and carrots were great and the pork was very flavorful and juicy! 10/10 Would definately recommend!
