I just left Hungry Howie’s in Apollo Beach on 41 and felt compelled to leave a review. The young woman at the window was absolutely pleasant from start to finish. She greeted me with kindness, kept me updated on my order, and sent me on my way with a warm holiday wish. That level of service truly goes a long way. I really appreciated her kindness — I’d want her on my team.

While I was picking up my order I heard the manager screaming and using curse words towards his staff. His staff was very nice except for himself. That is completely unnecessary behavior and is a very abusive working environment. We should not be teaching the workforce that being mistreated at work is ok. The manager needs to do better! Next time I will call the police for abusive behavior.

Horrible pizza. I never had a wet pizza before. My car seat had juice all over it by the time I got home. I have not had a Hungry Howies pizza in a long time and wanted something different. I will not order from here again. I took pictures but can’t upload them for some reason .

Walked in I was greeted with a smile by the cashier Chrissy she has the best customer service I’ve had seen in a long time . My order came out in a quick manner . Highly recommend this location.

I get the wings, ask them to run them through twice and the cheesebread; delicious and fairly inexpensive. The staff is always friendly and the wait time is usually about 15 min.

I ordered a chicken calzone which was okay just a little too salty for my liking. Thank goodness I got it to go, the amount of flies in the store would have made it impossible for me to sit down and relax.
I’m not sure what’s going on in that store but I won’t order from there again, I just got a bad vibe, while watching them make people’s food.

I bought a pizza with no cheese it had cheese they refused to replace it unless I returned it to the store …which I’m pregnant on bed rest and I have a seizure disorder so I dont drive. So in order to get my food I had to pay for a new pizza.I also bought a pizza sauce cup that was a $1.19 with my order. I was perfectly fine with paying for my sauce what I wasnt okay with is the false advertising of the amount of pizza sauce that was going to arrive and the way the manger Nick refused to resolve this issue. If the sauce is now in less portions than update the picture online accordingly so you’re not scamming your customers into spending money for less product than you advertise.

They messed up my order once. But overall this place is okay. Could be better, in my opinion just customer service is not the same anymore! Also they hire people from outside the United States. But I mean EVERY company is doing that, they are taking our jobs abroad for cheaper pay, same service and sometimes even better so I guess I don’t blame them on that… ♀️

Honestly, not the best pizza I’ve ever had but when you can get a large one topping when ordered online for $8 or $9 all the sudden this pizza becomes very, very tasty. It’s not a bad pizza. Definitely a step up from the Red Baron or Tomb Stone I’ve been getting lately. I like their butter and garlic crust on a thin crust. Employees are friendly, store was clean, service was fast. If you’re a parent whose kids are having a sleep over this pizza, when ordered online to get the deal, is a no brainer.
