I’ve been going here for 20 plus years. Absolutely love their subs and pizza. However the last couple of times I have gone the pizza is close to raw. The amount of grease makes the subs in the pizza almost inedible. It’s like they dip the dough in oil no exaggeration. Bring back my old Hungry Howie’s!!!

Ordered a Howie’s Special Detroit Pizza and wings. When the pizza arrived it wasn’t hot. Not delivered slow cold, more like under cooked cold. The cheese wasn’t even melted and the crust was doughy, the veggies were raw. As a Detroit pizza it should have had cheese all the way out to the edges, not even close. A little disappointing for a $20 Pizza. The one I ordered a week ago was much better. Not looking for perfection but at least hit the bare minimum. Hot and fully cooked is the minimum!

Placed a delivery order online. 1.5 hours later tracker said pizza still being made. Called store.Store said pizza was delivered by Door Dash 15 mins ago. Pizza on the porch. I received NO NOTICE my pizza was delivered, no doorbell, no text, no tracker updates, NOTHING. Hungry Howie’s needs a new delivery service. Poor service.

Ordered a pizza online at 2 a.m. waited well over an hour paid and tipped and pizza arrived after 3:30 cold and disgusting. Driver gave no explanation or apology. Pregnant in my third trimester I wouldn’t spend my money here again if it was the last place on earth. Highly disappointed in my favorite pizza place.

The pizza looked soo sad. Was cooked wrong twice, the manager just couldn’t seem to focus or care. How do you make something look so sad and dead. To the point I felt bad offering it to the homeless. I don’t want a refund or a re-make. I wanna save you the time of day, better yet your taste buds and order from litterally from any other pizza place in the order. This Hungry Howies is always on point with their pizza, the rating is more so on the door dash delivery driver who was rude and argued with me on how my apartment complex numbers their appointments. She looked for my apartment for all of 3 minutes, she texted me to come outside because she couldn’t find my apartment, I went out side to see her walk to her car and throw my pizza in her back seat. When I told her those were mine, she started arguing about that my apartment number is on the second floor not the 3rd floor because it starts with a 2. Since there is no way to track the door dash driver I can’t make a complaint on her, Hungry Howies needs to use their own delivery drivers like they used to.
