I placed an online order like i usually do. Upon arrival, Rose was the only worker present. Rose greeted me and was super friendly. It was a really busy night and she couldve used the help. She stayed positive and helped each customer with grace. As a fellow GM in the service industry it was a breath of fresh air seeing this. There were extended wait times but Rose made sure to communicate that to us.

5/11/25 6:45pm – Extremely disappointed! Waited 25 minutes and the pizza isn’t even cooked through all the way nor are the veggies completely cooked. The veggies and ham are literally falling off the pizza as if they added it all after partially cooking. So, now I’m at home cooking pizza when the whole point was not to cook on Mother’s Day. I won’t be going back to this location.

I’m very disappointed and officially labeling this the worst Hungry Howie’s location in the valley. Customer service was lack luster, delivery was terrible and even more important the food was a mess. No effort put in, both of our XL pizzas appeared to have been dropped or just thrown around by the delivery person I am guessing. And Our medium cheese pizza was not even cut, we had to cut it ourselves. This turned into the worst work related lunch I did with my team because of this experience and I will not be ordering pizza from here again. I was also quoted 40 minutes and it took an hour and half to get it 3 pizzas…

I got the veggie pizza delivered on DoorDash it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I have no clue what is wrong with the pizza in Phoenix but until these workers know how to bake these pizzas I’m just gonna get the boxed pizzas from the store very disappointing.

The two young guys who worked on a busy Friday night were really busting, and still had great customer service. Kudos to them, they deserve more $!
Hungry Howies is good pizza, they usually have good deals and you can earn points on the app for free pizza as well. Love the flavor crust and you can mix and match pretty much anything.

Giving it 3 stars just because our food wasn’t delivered. I ordered online and said it was going to take about 40 mins to get delivered once I saw driver was on the way I waited outside for him “dont live that far” but I was drinking. Waited and waited until I saw on the app it was delivered and yet I was outside waiting for it. Called the store Caleb was a sweetheart and redid our food and gave us a discount. Doordash shouldn’t be able to deliver for them anymore since I was told its happened multiple times that food doesn’t get delivered by them. Caleb and the other guy working in the back should get a raise for busting their asses off!

The phone ordering Just SUUUuuucccks.
July 6th at 830pm.
The man running the store was fast and efficient, great attitude.
Another customer arrived at the same time, we were both out the door within 3 minutes.
Guy knows his restaurant, and the pizzas amazing.
The telephone ordering process sucked.
This single pizza, half veggie half double pepperoni – was repeated 6 times. I said it twice. He said it 4 times. I had to verbally say Yes that’s correct 5 times.
Next time I’ll be ordering online.

OMG! On a week like this a with temps at 111-116 degrees, why isnt the AC in this place working. I just walked in to pick up my carry out order and you get hit with heat like your in the oven same as being outside. Im not sure how this crew can work in this environment. I think this may be a health code violation. It was 97degrees inside.
The pizza is great happy with the order, just feel bad for the crew working.
