Doordash driver, gonna give a good example of what my expectations from this store are. Today(saturday) at about 12:30 pm, I got an order, pita way and hungry howies. I was about 10 min away when I got the order. Went to pita way, of course the order is ready. Use the bathroom there, so I’ve had this order for at least 15 min. I walk into hungry howies and they haven’t even put the pizza in the oven. Pretty much par for the course here. Also staff are extremely rude to dashers. And I’ve had them put the wrong address into the order then call me after drop off and blame me for their mistake.
So sufficient to say, I’m never going to walk into this places doors again. Absolute joke of a place and you earned this rating.

Like most places around metro Detroit sub par service is now the norm or average. They can’t manage to have their own delivery drivers, so they let the door dash crowd come and forget / steal pieces of your order. What I received was some of the saltiest nastiest cheese bread I’ve ever had and some fairly burnt pizza. We tossed the leftovers. Save your money everyone

I have to compliment the team here tonight. We had a subpar experience the last time we ordered. First off they called us within 24 hours to make it better. Today we reordered and everything was 5 star. The person I spoke to on the phone to order so friendly and made sure we knew how sorry they were about our last order. The food is top notch which is what we normally receive but I wanted to be sure they know how much we appreciate them.

Updated Dec 2020: Tried the deep dish. Pleasantly surprised on how good it was. This store is very quick. I can order 10 min out and it is almost always ready when I get there. They hire the most pleasant and polite kids for the store.
2017: Traditional franchise pizza. Expect greasy, but not skimpy on the pepperoni and cheese, pizza. Didn’t try the deep dish, went with traditional round.

I’ve only ordered pizza from Hungry Howie’s 3 times. The first time the order was correct. The next two times they didn’t get it right at all. My husband and I only like thick crust pizza. Both times they got it wrong is was thin and crispy. One of them wasn’t even the right toppings. Found a better place to order from.

Ordered 2 large pizzas at 9:35pm and I know they close at 10pm. I specifically told them that if it was too late for a delivery, then I would come and pick it up myself. They assured me they could deliver in 30-40 min. Of course, they never showed and never even bothered to call. If the owner is reading this, you need to find better staff, because your current crew is going to cause you to shut down.

There was a mix- up on my 1st order it was not what I ordered.I spoke to the manager to get a better understanding of the situation and was offered a free pizza for the misunderstanding. The thing of the matter was I couldn’t get an exact time of when the delivery of the free pizza was going to be but when it was delivered it was left on the steps, the delivery person did not come to the door, nor ring the doorbell like they did the first time but just left my pizza on the steps. Wow unbelievable.
