This hungry Howies is the worst location and it’s unfortunate because I grew up in New Haven. Every time I go here I get mad at myself because I should know better. After moving from out of state to Michigan .. I received a coupon from Hungry Howie’s New Haven location for a free medium one topping pizza. I called shortly after they opened in the morning and was addressed by a polite employee who took my order and told me it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived in that time frame and was greeted immediately by a friendly middle aged employee who handed me my pizza and thanked me for stopping in. Pizza taste is in the eye of the beholder .. and my grandson enjoyed every piece. Having a friendly and efficient staff in the competitive world of pizza pies .. is paramount. Because of the one employee who represented this location well .. I will drive a little further and return. I claimed my free pizza on Nov 30th shortly after 11am ..

I just really injoy eating hungry Howie’s deep dish pizza. If ask for it to be well done. It doesn’t have that sticky doe in the middle.. and it has a nice crunch to it. And all pizza places will make it well done for you. The staff is really nice and they are always on time when making my pizza. Well I always pick it up myself and it’s always ready when they say it will be.. as far as delivery I’ve never it delivered but I’m sure it’s the same they’re always on time
