My son & I enjoyed the honey walnut shrimp which was to die for btw. We also ordered jasmine rice and chicken pan seared dumplings. The people next to us also ordered the garlic bok choy and they seemed to really love that. The restaurant was well appointed clean and attractive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The Hungry Dumpling House was a a solid and delicious place to eat. The staff was wonderful and the food was good. Our favorite dish was actually the Honey Walnut Shrimp. The tempura was perfection and it wasn’t overly sweet. The Shrimp were huge! Of the dumplings we tried the Curry dumplings were our favorite! Everything was really good, and we will definitely be returning.

I didn’t know I was about to have the BEST cucumber salad I’ve ever had in my life. It was chunky pieces of cucumber and super flavorful! Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you. =]

Early Sunday food was great but service was ok. Good was good but not mind blowing. It will hit the spot if you want to some dumplings but it’s not a place I would seek to go to.

A great selection of various kinds of Asian dumplings – pan seared, steamed, sauced, you name it.
Very nice service. Not so great ambiance.

Delicious eggplants in chili oil, so much so that I got extra to go.
Cucumber salad was refreshing.
Dumpling soup was light and tasty.
Steamed dumplings were flavorful, albeit a little on a thicker side. Chili dumplings were also great. Good was hot. Service prompt and courteous.
A little fresh air would be nice (ventilation problem?) and maybe sunshades on the garage door – it was super bright and hot. But, food was worth it all.

The cucumber salad was delicious. I also loved their take on stir fried string beans.

We stumbled by this place last week for lunch as we were looking for a different place. The interior is nice, and they had the side doors that go up, which gave it that open feeling. The service was friendly as our waitress checked up on us to make sure everything was OK. The items we ordered were pretty good (since a handful of items we wanted were out). We ended up getting some steamed pork dumplings, pan seared chicken dumplings, salted egg yolk wings, and the devil mala noodles. The salted egg yolk wings were the winner as it’s a unique flavor that they were able to incorporate well for the wings. The devil mala soup had a nice flavor to it. Overall, I would come back again to try the items that they were out of.

4.5/5 is overrated for this chinese restaurant. We ordered a few items (i.e., noodle, steam dumplings, salted egg yolk wings); many of them just did not taste good. Let’s begin with the steam dumplings… It was solid hard, and we thought this dish was either not cooking through or sitting in the kitchen for a while. The salted egg yolk wings were ok at first then it started getting greasy taste; the good part about this dish is that these wings were pretty big. Noodles, on the other hand, were something else, tasteless in a way. I ordered the pork tonkatsu ramen, and I regretted that decision. It did not taste like Chinese street noodles nor Japanese ramen…
3/5 is good enough in terms of the rating from my point of view. It is ok but will not revisit.
