It was my favorite crab place bc it was like Boiling crab in the west coast. Where you choose your flavor and spice level.

We were heeded to Red Lobster for dinner and saw this place. Pulled in and started discussing the chances of it meeting our expectations. Checked reviews online, 3/5 ⭐ on Yelp but I know better than to just go by those. We didn’t see very many cars in the lot and figured a Friday night would draw more. Well… we walked in, got seated, and the waitress took our drink order right away. After making our menu choices, we were pleasantly surprised with how soon our meals arrived. They bring them out in steamed bags on the plates, with the yummy butter inside. You just open them up and pour it on the plate. As you can see, our son chose the largest meal there is, and he shared some with us, but ate the majority of it. We were all very impressed with the restaurant and food. I’m giving them a 4/5⭐.

Great place if you love seafood! some of the appetizers look small yet people started eating them right away because they’re so great! Second time going and I will be back. I love the way they ask you about how hot or spicy you want it in the butter at the bottom of the bag also what type of butter. Open the bag and start dipping and all the sauce that comes with it very good.

My Dad came into town, and while we normally visit Krustaceans Seafood, they happened to be closed, so we tried out this spot. The meal was pretty tasty. However, the service was not as helpful as we would have expected. We were having some problems understanding how the combo or meal choices worked. The server seemed not to have the patience to explain or perhaps the understanding that we didn’t understand the menu like he did. Overall, it was a good experience, yet I’d definitely go to Krustaceans first. Their seasoning and service is amazing! Oh, drinks were nothing to write home about, yet to be expected for the environment and sweet potato fries were not the greatest. On the other hand, their kids’ chicken nuggets were pretty delicious. The boil was good, I wish their were more potatoes. However, I wasn’t impressed with the taste of the sausage! The boil had plenty of shrimp, not as many crab legs as I would have anticipated. (I actually reheated the meal the next day, and it was still pretty tasty!) Would I go back? Likely only if Krustaceans was closed. I’d give them an 8 out of 10 overall.

I liked how the seasoning seeped into the meat, leading to each bite being full of Cajun flavors. However, there were a lot of spots that were overly salty. It is also very possible that they are using frozen seafood instead of fresh. I noticed the table we were given had a few dirty spots. Furthermore, our waitress gave off an unfriendly vibe. Lastly, it can feel a bit pricey for what you ultimately get.

I think if you’re someone who doesn’t like your food seasoned and doesn’t mind food that went from the bag to the fryer then you’ll enjoy it.
Was really excited to try this place, because my favorite place to get catfish (Papadoos) isn’t open on Monday’s. I was frankly disappointed. I thought it would be a real seafood place, but everything tastes like something you would get from a fast food chain. The texture of the fish is weird, the hush puppies are doughy inside and the fries didn’t even have salt or pepper on them. This is a one and done for me!

The food is good and the price is a bit expensive. I got the pick 2 deal, I forget the exact name. I got 1/2 a pound of black mussels and half a pound of crab. I had cajun seasoning and the “hot” spice level. The hot isn’t that hot, if you enjoy spice I would probably try the “super hot.” But the “hot” level was very tolerable and enjoyable. I also got a pepsi. It was about $30 total. My family members got other items that you can see in the photos I posted. The decor of the restaurant is cute, including the Jack Sparrow near the door.

The shrimp boil for lunch is wonderful. It is reasonably priced at $11.99. It is nice to have a choice of marinades and heat. My husband had the red snapper and he said it was quite tasty.

The decor is awesome and the service was good..the food was ok not great. The menu is confusing to read and I just eventually went with a lunch combo.

I’m glad we tried it. Not everything was great but we enjoyed all of the steamed seafood that we ordered. We didn’t order anything fried because (among other reasons) the reviews about the fried food were generally somewhat negative. Between all meals at our table we had blue crab, snow crab, scallops, and shrimp. All were good. We tried the “Hungry” and “garlic butter” seasoning and enjoyed both of them as well. The garlic butter has plenty of garlic. I didn’t enjoy the sausage or the eggs.

Stopped in on my drive West on Highway 70. Thought it was closed but saw a few cars there. Walked in and decór was nice so gave itna shot. Got the tilapia dinner and received four small pieces with a ton of curly fries. Tilapia was ok but didn’t taste cooked. A few hours later, I got terribly sick and killed my desire for fish. Can see from the picture all the fries and barely any tilapia. Not sure why I got a paper plate? The good thing going were the people who worked there. Very nice and friendly. They made it enjoyable but the food was nothing to write home about.
