The food? Absolutely delicious. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
And let’s talk about the drinks — 10/10. My absolute favorite is the lychee martini. It’s perfectly balanced, not too sweet, super smooth, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. If you go, that’s a must-order!

Absolutely amazing. Had fried pickles, 6 garlic butter oysters, S1 special and fried catfish basket. The ambience is perfect. Not loud, and food came quick perfect my server Cindy kept coming to check regularly. Highly recommend.

Passing thru and found this gem. I thought the location and decor was a little touristy but the food was outstanding! Had the 1/2 lb make your own with scallops, crab and sausage. Would definitely recommend. BTW – the service in a bag seems odd but perfect.

Me and family had a party of 13 we arrive there at 7:15. We placed our order at 730pm and after an 1:35 minutes later all our food came and the cajun fries were cold, all 6 low country seafood broil was near below warm. Nothing was served fresh and we told told the manager about issues. Instead her making it fresh she had the cooking put the in the microwave. Snow crab and mussels were mushy. Finally and last time ill spend any amount there.

So let me tell you the food is good, but the service is bad. The owner knows nothing about how to give good service was on the phone. He caught an attitude with me and the crazy thing is when you come into a restaurant and people think you don’t understand their language. I’ve been learning Chinese for a couple years now and I understand everything so you might want to check yourself? Everything else is wonderful, but Not knowing how to treat people ruins business.

I want to dispute some of the reviews that are not quite accurate on here. First, the lady that posted a review about Calven the manager last night- that woman came in late at night, after the bar was closed. She just strode in and went straight to the bar where nobody was at. Didn’t stop to wait at rhe host stand or the register to be helped. She never communicated to any of the workers what she wanted to do. She was finally greeted by the manager who was confused as to what she was trying to do since she never said. Then just started to curse and argue loudly. That could have been avoided by simply stating your reason for coming in. Also, the gratuity that is added to parties of 6 or more is 18%, not 25% as one person said on reviews. And that is standard procedure for larger parties. Alot of people seem to either not know or dont care about tipping procedure. Its supposed to be a percentage of your bill amount. 15% to 25%. Most people do 18% but its appreciated no matter the amount, but alot of patrons find that leaving 0 is ok. When you leave nothing, servers dont make a dime. They get a 10 dollar check per week, so if you dont leave a tip, they dont get paid. And if you order alcohol and dont tip, it cost the server to serve you because they have to tip out to the bar. So, if you wish to be serviced at a restaurant, don’t expect it to be for free please. Servers have to survive too, pay bills, just as you do. Hungry Crab is not perfect, but
the servers and staff do try to make your visit a good one. The overworked manager is sometimes just tired, maybe he isnt the most cheerful but please keep in mind that he does care, he tries to do his best but customer service is something he is working hard at improving, as cultural differences are present. Try to be patient and be clear about your needs when interacting with the employees. They will do their best to meet them. I know everyone that works there truly does their best.

We enjoyed an appetizer of fried shrimp. Then for the main course we had snow crab and shrimp boil, and a catfish basket. For dessert there was key lime pie. It was all tasty and we would definitely eat here again.

If you like seafood then this is a great spot. Great decor and the atmosphere is good. Our server was very friendly and quick. The food was delicious. So many cool things to see here besides just getting food. Stop in and check this place out if you haven’t been! I recommend this business.
