Worst BBQ I’ve ever had. Hands down. I don’t even think it’s actually smoked. I posted a picture of the “ brisket “. Anyone who knows brisket can see this is chuck roast. It was awful and definitely cooked in an oven or slow cooker. We got a pound of pulled pork , a pound of “brisket” and 3 sides for $125.
I figured I was gonna be eating some of the best barbecue I’ve ever tasted.. I was very disappointed. These are extreme premiums for a barbecue joint.
I double checked their prices against some of the other local barbecue places and that’s why I ultimately decided to leave a review.
Save yourself some aggravation and go somewhere else. You’ll get the same amount of food for almost half the price and be spared from very low quality.

I’ll start off by saying the food was ok the bit that I got that wasn’t burnt to where you could not bite it in half. I ordered the pork special that was $24.99. I believe that after tax with a small drink was $30 and some change. It came with 3 ribs, a hand full of pulled pork and sausage link cut up 2 rolls and 2 sides. So Ribs, where ok? One was so hard that you could not bite into it. The other 2 ribs were spot on and enjoyable. Mac & Cheese was good. Green Beans they really didn’t have much taste to them they did have a small amount of pulled pork in them I loaded them down with some salt and pepper still didn’t really help them out, just no season. Pulled pork was decent, adding the bbq sauce to it. The meat was smoked well. I couldn’t really taste any of the season they used on outside if they even used any on the outside while they smoked it. And now, for the sausage, a couple of the pieces were good, but the majority of it was burnt to a crisp. There is just no way I could have put that in one of my customers’ boxes and sent that out. Hopefully, I’ll stop back by there and give them another chance, and it won’t go as it did today. Now they do have another location down the road not too far before you enter into Gatlinburg off 321 that location I have eaten at a few times, and it’s pretty good also. Anyways, if you’re looking for some bbq and you’re next to one of these locations, give them a try it want hurt to try them at least one time.

Solid off-road pit stop restaurant, but very takeouty feel. Better than fast food for sure when hungry, but no beer, and i love me a brew with my ribs. Best Cade’s Cove sausage i ever had though. Lil too sweet and $115 to feed 5 felt steep, especially for the tiny sides.

The lady that took our order was very nice, however she informed us that they had already turned their fryer off an hour before closing time.
The mac and cheese tasted like the kind out of the box and I have to say the potato salad was the worst I’ve ever tasted.
The pulled pork sandwiches were very good but overall a disappointing experience for the money spent.

Absolutely tasty food at decent prices just outside Gatlinburg. We got chili cheese fries, ribs and burgers. The staff were welcoming and interactive, but not invasive. Great environment, we had the place to ourselves for 25 minutes at lunchtime. A hidden gem!

Ok people, this used to be a good bbq restraunt and I’m a local, but now its the worst bbq I have ever eaten! I traveled the country and im a master chef! These people have no idea of what they are doing! First we ordered the bbq dinner, the green beans are out of a can and they think that by adding a little pulled pork that would season them! No! Plus they add something that makes them hot my wife count not eat it, now lets move on to the sauces, the hot is nothing but basically hot wing sauce, the sweet is nothing but bbq sauce with some sugar added, the mild even sucked! I actually afraid to try the mac and chess as one it already looks way over cooked! The best in or around is Bennett! Some of the best bbq i have ever eaten was in west Memphis at a black owned joint thats been on tv like 100 times! This was the worst in this country! Its like every thing cam out of cans or boxes so do not waste your time or money! Not sure who own the outer in gatlinburg but stay far away from this one all all cost!

Ordered the Hungry Bear Ribs’ dinner and the meat on the ribs fell right off and the flavor was truly delicious. We also ordered the Beef Brisket dinner and the meat was really tender and flavorful.
My opinion, it was a little bit pricey but worth every penny.

I got the 6 piece wing meal and it came with celery and carrots! Tossed in mild sauce was delicious and the meat fell right off the bone. All of this for $8. Isn’t that a great deal? I was amazed and enjoyed every bite. I think they make their own sauces because I don’t feel gross after eating mild sauce (in which I normally do). These wings were life changing and I will be thinking about them for the rest of my life probably.

If I could give no stars I would. I came to this place bc the reviews were good. I am ultra disappointed. This was garbage. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and potato salad. I paid $13 for 2 tbsp of plain pork on a bun (no slaw unless you order it as a side and no pickles?!?). I got one 1 oz cup of sauce. My sides came in 2 oz cups. The potato salad tasted like mayo with nothing else in it. I feel like I wasted my money and wish I had picked a different place to try some BBQ.
