Went to the Hunan Palace to get a order of shrimp and broccoli fried rice. I have not been to this place in quite a while. Went today and it was the worst shrimp and rice fried rice broccoli.I ever had from that place is disappointing. The shrimps taste like they were old and no good. Not fresh, they were tiny. And it’s sad, usually they have good french.I mean good broccoli and shrimp, fried rice. But today, worst as I ever had from them, and it’s sad. Hunan enjoy the money payment y’all going down… Well, get a real quick chef.Somebody who can really fix food cuz.Today’s food was nasty.

One of the cleanest Chinese Food Restaurants in West Philadelphia, I don’t have to travel far to get here. Reasonable prices and clean tasty food. This was my second to ordering from Hunan Place. It’s in the “hood” yet, it doesn’t taste like your average neighborhood Chinese food restaurant’s.

Haven’t been here since November; they keep on changing their prices. Because I want something different in my fried rice, they charge me a $1 more for egg $1 more for broccoli in my fried rice. They even charge me an extra $2 for broccoli in my Lo Main. For $60 the food wasn’t good at all. A clean place yes, but the food sucks.

The people who work there are insanely disrespectful: they will make a any policy to get an extra cent out of you: and it make me feel like im less than a person. the food not worth the disrespect to be honest…

Got general Tso chicken, pork fried rice and an iced tea for $10.50. No idea how they are able to charge this little but the food wasn’t bad at all. The pork fried rice was a lil blah, next time I will just get white rice. I didn’t call to order and my food took a lil while but I was very happy with the general tso chicken. Will order again.

Their general tso chicken tasted horrible. It tasted like someone forgot there food and they decided to refry it for sale. The skin was super hard, also the meat was dry. Please look at your food before purchase. Check over everything.

The Chicken Wings Were Some Of The Most Unseasoned Wings I’ve Ever Had. They Tasted Like Oil. The Rice Was Good. If It Weren’t For The Rice I Would’ve Fed It To The Alley Cats.

Our go to spot. Food is good, however I’m not a fan of their fried chicken – under seasoned & I strongly dislike a lot of cooked blood inside my fried chicken and all but 1 piece was like that.
The hours are not accurate – they’re not opened at 11 (unsure when exactly but I stopped calling around 11:30) & beginning 2025 they are closed on Sundays (sign on the glass window inside).
