This was our first time ordering take out from Hunan Palace. We are very happy with our choice. The steamed dumplings are big and fresh with a delicious dipping sauce. We also ordered wonton soup, egg drop, moo goo gai pan, lo mein, and pork fried rice. The portions are really good. We will definitely be ordering again. Hot,fresh and flavorful. You wont be disappointed.

Outstanding, unique takes on classic American Chinese dishes. Some of the best Orange Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken I’ve ever had. Super crispy and fresh chicken, flash fried, and tossed in light and delicious sauces. The soups are all delicious and homemade, as well as the dumplings and crab rangoon. Super friendly service and wonderful staff. Unassuming place but well worth the trip for the best Chinese in the area.

Hunan Palace used to be much better. We ordered tonight for the first time in a few years, and after moving to Forest Hills, and it was very disappointing. We literally had to throw away three entrees because they were inedible. Orange chicken was not cooked and pork lo mein tasted like it was starting to spoil. The kids didn’t mind the white rice and steamed vegetables, but for $85, this was a bad night for our family. We won’t be ordering again.

I really wanted to like it cause it has the best kind if dumpling- chonky bois. They were good but not amazing.
The Capital Chicken was a weird version I’ve never seen before. Very watery, bland taste. It’s not the flat crunchy capital chicken.
Service was top tier!!! Very friendly staff~ I’d recommend trying it out for yourself.

New owners. Been coming here for years. Portions SMALL ordered dinner general tsos chicken they did NOT fill up the container. 3 stars because the food was good just wish I would have got my money’s worth

I ordered shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp…There was maybe 15 shrimp in between all this dry rice… I can’t see me going back and this was my first time ever trying them. Definitely disappointed especially spending 16 on all this dry rice…

Ordered two lunch specials. 1-Shrimp & Broccoli came with a skimpy amount of small shrimps (see picture). 2-The Chinese Vegetables lunch was much better. The vegetable egg roll was very good. Yet, at $7 they are a bit overpriced.

I ordered broccoli with fried rice. Was surprised to hear that it came with white rice but I wanted fried I had to pay an extra $2.50. My order cost over $20 and the portion was not even that big. I will say the food was good and prepared the way I liked it but it’s just way overpriced so I won’t be back.
