This neighborhood Asia Fusion restaurant has a large menu with many Chinese-American classics. The take out is quick, accurate, and delicious! We recommend the Twainanese Beef Noodle Stew, Shrimp Rolls, Rangoons, Tofu Fried Rice, Three Ingredients, Chicken Cashew Nut, Beef with Mixed Vegetables, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. You can customize almost everything on the menu.

We moved to the area four years ago, and I’m sad, now, that we waited this long to try Hunan Gardens in Texas Corners. It is SO good. We ordered the house Crispy Chicken (General Tso’s), chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, pork dumplings, egg drop soup, and crabmeat Rangoon. Everything was delicious and the best American Chinese food we’ve found in Kalamazoo.

I ordered orange chicken lunch special and when I received it the chicken was completely melted through the styrofoam to the point of I’m not eating it. The rice wasn’t white rice like I ordered. The food completely unable to be ate except for the soup. I wasn’t eating anything in the to go container due to burning through. The paper bag it was in leaked all over due to the sauce and made a complete mess in my vehicle. I’ve heard such great things and was told to go here and I finally did and I was so underwhelmed by it. Oh the best part is you have to ask for utensils. If it’s a to go order they should already be added to the order but nope had to ask and the guy behind the register gave me a weird look and when I asked ten duck sauce the server looked at the gentlemen for approval. Honestly so not thrilled it satisfied. Wasted hard earned money on food I couldn’t even eat. Tried calling back up there and no luck. I hope you have a better experience than me.

I brought my husband here for his birthday, we really enjoyed it! The restaurant was relaxed and comfortable. The food was excellent, and I really appreciate being served hot tea and ice water without having to ask. Our server was a very warm and friendly person and made sure that we knew we ordered something spicy. We will go back again!

First visit to Hunan Gardens. Clean, well-lit, comfortable facility. Well above average service, and good food at competitive pricing. The crispy chicken is especially notable. Sweet crunchy goodness in every bite. Expansive menu, there is pretty much something to please everyone here. If it’s not on the menu, they’ll still do their best to make you happy.

We went in as a fairly large group and they were able to accommodate us and the staff was very nice about it. The food was fantastic and the environment was very welcoming! We were served fried wonton chips with a sauce that I was told was lovely, and hot tea that hit the spot! Rice came with our meals and went well with the main dishes. It was delicious!

They have added a new family member to help out….see pictures. Always a great food and no one does crab ragoons like Hunan Gardens. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The amount of food is more than plenty. Clean and nice and roomy. I had the Honey Chicken w/white rice, crab Rangoon s, delicious as always.
