We order the dinner for 3 people, we got cashew chicken, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, snow beef and soup as well as eggs rolls and cream cheese wontons. Everything was delicious. My son especially liked the soup. The service was really good, very nice people. Very clean restaurant.

My Family and I have been going to Tahoe for all of our lives and somehow we have missed this A+ Chinese Restaurant.
We were in the mood to try something new, and we decided on Chinese food. After we did a search on google, Hunan Garden caught our eye. With a wide range of food from hearty soups to flavorful dishes of rice, orange chicken, chow mein, shrimp (tons of different variations) and the list goes on!
The service was absolutely amazing! We never had to ask for drink refills, our waiter was constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything.
From the time we placed our order to receiving the food was fast. When it comes to portion sizes Hunan Garden doesn’t hold back. We order a variety of things to try out. We are a family of 5 but when the food came, it look like they were serving an army . The food tastes as good as it looks. Everything was cooked to perfection!
You can tell the workers have a lot of pride in what they do. Waiters giving A+ service, the cooks making amazing dishes, and to the busser making sure the restaurant is spotless and it was!

We came here for lunch. Super friendly service and decent quality Chinese food and reasonable prices in the Lake Tahoe area. Highly recommended if you are visiting the area. I love the Hunan Chicken Wings, and Hot & Sour Soup. Go try it out if you can take spicy

In a tourist spot like Lake Tahoe, where the commercial atmosphere is quite strong, finding affordable yet authentic dishes was truly beyond expectations. The fried rice was delicate, the beef was tender, the black pepper chicken came with a variety of sides, and the seafood soup was delicious. It instantly gave me a much better impression of Lake Tahoe.

Absolutely unacceptable. The food tasted stale and was drowned in cornstarch to the point of being inedible. There was no real flavor or freshness — just thick, gluey sauce pretending to be food. After one bite, I had immediate stomach discomfort and stopped eating. This is not what anyone should be served, let alone pay for. Quality control here is clearly nonexistent. Avoid this eatery if you value your health.

My family came to South lake Tahoe for the gondola ride and roller coaster. They were hungry..looked on yelp and decided to try this place. The reviews were good..so we drove here.
When we arrived about 1:00..literally it was empty. I was a little suspect…but we decided to stay since we were already there.as we looked over the menu we saw that it was family style. So we each ordered a dish and shared it.
We ended up ordering sweet and sour pork…sizzling beef…walnut shrimp…house chow mein…general chicken..egg rolls and crab Rangoon.
Where to start. The food came out fresh and hot. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon came out first and was very good…crispy and delicious.
The chow mein was 12 95 and came with beef..chicken..shrimp…and pork. There really was not much meat and the flavor was just o.k. I ordered extra general sauce and pit it on the noodles to make them more flavorful…
The walnut shrimp were so good. The sauce was creamy and delicious…I would order it again…15.95
The general chicken was crispy and delicious. The portion was good and came out piping hot. I really like the flavor of the sauce…11.95
