This place used to be pretty good, but I’m not sure what’s going on now. The Shrimp Fried Rice tasted like yesterday-dry + tasteless…And the shrimp in it were MICRO-MINI. Then $2.00 for extra onions? Tragic.

The shrimp was over cooked and the sauce was salty to thick and taste sweet with pepper flakes

Yes I recommend this place BUT skip the Sesame chicken and/or shrimp. Normally this place is great, however today the Sesame shrimp and chicken combo was terrible. It was the first time I got it and the chicken AND shrimp were overcooked and dry inside the breading. The sauce was great and my husband’s lemon chicken was tender and juicy so it was just the Sesame Chicken & Shrimp combo. We opted for take out, so going back to the restaurant was annoying. Instead I ate my kids chicken fried rice and dumplings, which was good. Oh well. Next time I will skip the Sesame dishes. I still recommend this place! But don’t get the Sesame chicken and shrimp.

Ordered the Honey Chicken which is very good. Also got the General Tso’s Shrimp and once again it made me sad. The sauce was very good but the shrimp was overcooked and waaaaaay to much breading. Save yourself the heartache I have now endured twice and skip all the shrimp dishes!!!

Maybe the best egg roll I’ve ever had, so crunchy and big. The kung pao chicken and general tsos were delicious, with really nice portions. Overall I really enjoyed the food here and I will gladly be back!

I specifically ordered a 6 piece wings last night with fried rice. When I got my order it was actually 3 whole wings cut up in half. When I asked the lady about it she said they don’t serve whole wings. Would have been nice to know that before hand since no other Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to does that. Wouldn’t recommend.

First-time customer- I got steamed pork dumplings and hot crispy chicken. The dumplings and sauce were so delicious that I ate all of them before eating my entree (which was good also!) The fortune cookie was still warm– they must make it themselves! Comparing to other Chinese restaurants, the prices were great.

The pork filling in the dumplings, as well as the barbeque pork in the Singapore rice noodles was very fresh!!! Unexpected for Chinese take out! They accommodate special requests. Everything was fresh and tasty. We will be back!

Hands down best Chinese food in Maryland. Been coming here for over 10 years. I don’t know what me and my family would do if they ever closed down. We always get the combination fried rice extra spicy it’s a must try.

I don’t understand the negative reviews that warn you to not order because I know for a fact that if anything is made to less than standard, they will apologize and correct it. As far as I’ve experienced, this is the best Chinese takeout there is! I’ve been getting food from Melody and her team for over 2 decades now, since I was a little girl. I have never been disappointed with the friendly and welcoming atmosphere and service. I can only think of a cpuple of times when I asked for something to be fixed, and their reaction was pleasant and more than willing to do it. I live out of state now, but whenever I come to visit my parents, Hunt Diamond is tradition! I love the freshness of ingredients, the delicious food, great service, and have grown to truly appreciate this family owned restaurant. Look forward to keep bringing my kids here!
