We ordered the crab rangoon and egg roll a spring roll the Walnut Chicken with fried rice and Mongolian beef with fried rice. For drinks we got the taro smoothie and honey dew jasmine green tea. The food was great! Everything we had you can tell was made in house and to order. The crab rangoon you can tell is made in house. Even the sweet and sour sauce was made in house. The Walnut chicken was tender and juicy. The sauce was slightly citrusy to cut the creaminess. The Mongolian beef was very flavorful and melted in your mouth. This has been some of the best Chinese food we have ever eaten. The atmosphere is modern and very clean. The service was prompt and quick to get everything out. We will definitely be coming back again.

Excellent, excellent food. Service was fast, little slow but it was a slow day. Tso’s chicken is Cantonese style and FANTASTIC! The crab Rangoon are literally the best I’ve ever had. It’s in what is now a run down shopping center. It needs a better location and a soda fountain. Nice dining room, but lack of decent soft drinks (bottles/cans only) makes it difficult. All in all, the food…the food is quite fantastic. You might want to take it to go.

The beef pad thai was the best I’ve ever had. My wife loved her orange tofu and lo mein. The portion sizes were great. Service was good and didn’t wait too long for food.

I just ate lunch off the lunch special in the restaurant. Can’t beat the price and probably faster than any Mcdonalds or Burger King and definitely better. Won ton soup was hot with an excellent taste. The egg roll was freshly made and their sweet and sour sauce was very good. I had the Moo Goo Gaipan. Everything was super. Very nice sit down restaurant that offers some beer and wine. This is definitely the go to for fast, great tasting and great atmosphere. If you’re in a hurry come here. If you just want to sit back and relax, this is the place for that also. I will be back again for sure.

I dined here with my wife and grandmother on Christmas day. This was our first time at Hunan Bistro, and it did not disappoint!
I had the Szechuan tofu, my wife had fried rice, and my grandmother had the sweet and sour chicken.
I’ve been trying to add more protein to my vegetarian diet, and the tofu selection at the Hunan Bistro is extensive. The portion size was generous, the presentation was nice, and the flavor was off the charts. I enjoyed everything about my meal, including the spring roll appetizer.
The service was great. Our server made sure our drinks were full and we had all that we needed throughout the dining experience.
Since it was Christmas day, they offered complimentary cake to all of their dine in guests. Like the rest of the meal, it was excellent!
Thank you Hunan Bistro for serving as such a wonderful meal on Christmas Day. It was a memorable experience, and I can’t wait to return!

The restaurant and all of the interior table settings are beautiful. The staff are lovely and the food portions are great. The flavors in the food is delicious and the price is reasonable in comparison to local competitors, especially considering the quality, portions and service. Hands down the best Chinese available in the Middletown area.

Large place, very clean, food fresh and delicious! I ordered dinner General Tso chicken which came with rangoon option. The General Tso had a nice slight heat to it. Honestly wonderful place, worth going to.

I don’t leave reviews often, but I got the Mongolian beef with fried rice and wonton soup. Not great, VERY under seasoned, the fried rice literally had nothing other than frying oil in it, the beef was tender but the sauce was just not great or flavorful. The veggie to beef ratio was just not good, unfortunately just feeling disappointed. And I do like quick low price takeout and fast food, this just isn’t good in my opinion. PF changs Mongolian beef is 1000% way better.
