This place cool. Food was good. I ordered 1 honey chipotle chicken noodle bowl. 3x cheesesteak dumplings 3x buffalo chicken dumplings with the mild sauce (hot sauce) and sweet soy sauce. My first choice was the chicken pot pie noodles but when I asked what were the popular noodle choice, the guy told me chipotle chicken so I went with that. 7 out of 10 I got sauce out halfway through eating it. The dumplings are amazing. Warning! There dumplings are packed one bite the filling is busting out. I wanna try the other choices. So next time I’m in the area I’m definitely stopping by.

I think this place is good. I got the chicken pot pie noddles and they were really good. My family got all the dumplings. I guess I’m just more of a steamed dumpling girly because I didn’t really enjoy them. But if I had to choose then the pork Asian was the best one.
I would go for the noodles again. I feel as though They are so much better than honeygrow. They are a lot less greasy and more flavorful
The guys were nice. The place is really small. Only two tables so don’t really plan to stay.

Not very good. Expensive and I ordered chicken dumplings. The man on the phone said we had buffalo chicken dumplings. So I ordered them and looks like their cheeseburgers or something this is disgusting I’m very upset. How do you not have regular chicken dumplings that are steamed?

We came in for dollar dumpling night. The name is super cute. That is the best part of the experience. I dont prefer fried dumplings but they are still dumplings! These were so very disappointing. We tried a variety, all of which were bland and flavorless. We ordered 20 dumplings to go to share amongst 4 ppl and only had 14 in the bag when we got home. Everyone tried a few and then opted for leftovers from the fridge instead. We won’t be back.

This is my experience at a food truck they had set up.
Pros: I had the cheese steak dumplings and they were pretty good. Kind of what you expect. Wasn’t too hot to bite in. They were set up at my soccer practice which can be kind of convenient. The size of the dumpling is above average. The person running the truck smiled and didn’t take too long. The truck looked kept well and clean.
Cons: The first and biggest thing is the price. I know food trucks are not known for having decent prices, but guess I’m just tired of this. $17 for 6 dumplings? This isn’t fine dining. They taste ok , but would be better if they had either onions or peppers in the cheese steak dumplings. Or the option for that would be nice.
I didn’t have much to say about them , mainly because it was really a mediocre experience. This is why the 3 stars. I wasn’t impressed or disappointed. Wouldn’t go out of my way to find one ,but if there I might get something.

It’s a good place for dumplings. Not sure if I’d turn them into a meal but they are tasty little things. The buffalo chicken and the cheesteak are a must. They have various options as well but I’ve only tried the dumplings. Either way worth a stop.

From seasonal selections to local favorites, all I can say is if you like/love dumplings then this is the place an I was never a dumpling eater until I came here at Humpty’s. I originally came to taste the cheese burger dumpling but I was two days too late as it was a seasonal item but no worries they have other options like the cheese steak #1, broccoli an cheddar, roasted pork, buffalo chicken, Chipotle BBQ chicken, Taco, Street corn and more. They also feature noodle bowls as well I really liked the pot pie an general tao ones omg an they have others but I can’t think off head, also have house made drinks I always get the lemonade the others have them bubble things in it with the juice yum an sauces that are really tasty like the BBQ or sweet soy I prefer in my opinion goes with any dumpling they serve. Great service an atmosphere with friendly staff an your food is made quick, I ordered 20 cheese steak an 10 BBQ chicken an it was ready in like under 5 min an never had an issue or complaint. If you haven’t tried this place an your in Philly your missing out is all I’m saying an don’t complain its far cause I travel for the good food an its only a few min drive an that cheese steak dumpling I’m sorry is delicious . P.S. They have $1 Wednesdays for their dumplings!!!

We went to the pop up they had at the Lantern Festival in Philly. I’ll start off with the fact I was skeptical about this place. The dumplings were round, deep fried, there were cheesesteak dumplings and they give you teriyaki sauce or ketchup to dip. I’m a traditional dumpling kind of person so I pre judged. Then I asked about the dough, was it like gyoza or is it like jiaozi? The woman at the register told me they’re on the thicker side but they’re in between. I LOVE jiaozi and living in NC it’s hard to find anything other than gyoza so I ordered the traditional pork dumplings..I’m so happy I got over myself and tried the dumplings. The dough was the ringer for me, the inside could’ve been trash and I would’ve been satisfied but they just got better the further you got into the bite. I even used the teriyaki sauce to dip them in. I’m super happy I pushed myself out of my box and had the chance to enjoy the dumplings. Next time we go back up to PA we will definitely plan a visit to the store front.
