Recommend for healthy food !⛱️
Stopped by today and enjoyed the food , the atmosphere was cool just there was one table very annoying, and couldn’t hear my friend who was talking to me on the same table because of the the other table , and they were rude to the worker for no reason, the same guy served us and he is super chill and patient and taking care like it’s his own place! Felt sorry for the worker !
Will come back for sure

I pre-ordered take out for a group and somehow accidentally selected pick up when I needed delivery. I called first thing in the morning and the owners were more then happy to accommodate even though it was short notice and an error on my end. The owner came with my food himself, everything we got was delicious and hot! We had the lemon chicken & falafel spread with hummus, pita and extra sides. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

I know Scott who works at this location, A friend of mine. I think I had told him at one point that I would never have walked into Hummus Republic just because the outside is very plain looking, not so inviting, especially for a busy summer oceanfront boardwalk store surrounded by decorated and fun looking stores and eateries, it leaves nothing to be desired from the outside. That same friend brought me a bowl one day and I could not stop going back for more!!! I told him I was so surprised how good it was and then I’m glad he introduced me. I think about these bowls every day The rest of the crew that works at that location are also so polite and friendly! They really have great customer service.
This was Scott’s recommended order that I currently can’t stop eating:
Bowl, rice , 3 tzatziki , half chicken Shawarma & half lemon chicken, then whatever you like from salad bar (which I usually opt of the greens), fire the sauce and get Roasted red pepper tahini + lemon and olive oil
Thanks me later! I wish they’d make the place look more fun. The ingredients (which I wasn’t all too familiar with given I don’t eat much Mediterranean food) were so fresh and flavorful and it’s seriously

Yesterday, I was at Long Branch and saw this joint. curious about what it has to offer… is it the same as halal food guys or something else- let’s try it-
they have 3 options-
Wrap

Bowl does not have a rice option, it has something called couscous – don’t know what it was, so did not try.
I chose Pita bread – they spread 3 types of Hummuses (I chose Harissa, Tzatziki, and Zesty) with beans, spinach, Chicken Shawarma, toppings (Onions, cabbage, Beets, tomato, etc…), and dressing…
you can choose whatever you want out of their spreads, proteins, toppings, hummus – it’s cool…mind it- their hat sauce can be really hot.
Sweet owners, helping you to choose cause let’s accept it, it can be confusing sometimes.
Yes, it was so messy while eating – but I loved it.
On a busy day, there could be a cleanliness issue – just ignore it. they are trying their best. The portions are generous and very satisfying, and the menu is all very fresh and healthy. This is a great take-out spot that I recommend to everyone.

Love this place! Hummus Republic has become our family’s “go-to” food spot on our weekly beach visits to Long Branch! I’ve been in about 4 times now and with each visit I get to try something new. I love being able to build my own bowl and the variety that it offers. Finally got to try the Earth burger and it is my new favorite! The staff was great! As a vegetarian and with other health restrictions, I found the staff to be informative and helpful. Happy eating!

Just tried Hummus Republic for the first time recently! I thought the food quality was incredible and so tasty. Bonus for being mostly gluten free as well! I did feel the receipt and the prices shown did not align and it was pretty steep for a lunch, but understandable being in Pier Village. Still would return as it was delicious and served both as a lunch and leftovers for dinner!

I love coming here! The food is so delicious, the staff friendly, and did I mention the food is delicious?! As a vegan, I love that I can come here and get simply luscious food to take to the beach (or get a meal before or after a boardwalk stroll off-season). I’ve been coming here for years, and it still always feels like a treat. Thank you for existing, Hummus Republic!
