Unexpectedly delicious and a true Hawaiian experience from the moment you walk in to feeling full and satisfied at the end of the meal. We were welcomed by authentic, tasty food and incredible hospitality from the staff. The portions were so generous in the same way your grandparents feed you. Hi, my boyfriend and I got the kalua pig combo plates with Mac salad and spike poke medium size. Very disappointed with the ahi poke. There was no flavor, it tasted watered down, and the texture of the fish was very mushy…. the sad part is that I’m from the islands and this was a serious disappointment. No love or better yet, no flavor at all. It tasted as if it was thawed last minute, not marinated and just prepped in a bunch of sauce with no seasoning. I’ve had hula hands poke before at a wedding and that was bomb, but this one was 0 out of 10. Service was great as usual but please reach out for reimbursement, mahalo.

The lady who took my order was trying her best to look at my pin while I was in the middle of using my card to pay . We didn’t get much meat compared to the MV store . They never gave us utensils napkins or sauces for our to go meal . The employees were so un professional and they were talking about other people . Food was over cooked . We would never recommend this store to anyone.

This place is delicious!! I lived Hawaii and the food here is legit!! The portions are large and the service is lightning fast. If it’s your fist time, you can get a complimentary sample plate. I highly recommend Hula Hands and I’m going to become a regular here.

I had dinner here with my 2 kids. It was open seating and we could seat ourselves anywhere. There was a sign that said, “No mask no service”. I don’t think it was being enforced because the server wasn’t wearing one. We wore masks and took them off when we got our drinks. There was only 1 employee working in the front and one person cooking in the back. Only 2 people running everything.
We had spam musubi and fried wonton for our appetizers. It didn’t take very to get our food. The musubi was good but ratio of rice to spam was not great. It had too much rice and spam was thin. The fried wonton was crispy and delicious but the filling was tiny….about the size of a gumball. There was a soy-wasabi dip that came with it.
We ordered combos for our main course. I got a regular size (chicken & beef) and one daughter got a small combo (pork &beef), and the other ordered a grilled cheese sandwich & fries.
Overall, the food was pretty good. The servings are huge. Even the small plate had a lot of food on it. The beef was not that hot when it came out. The flavors were good. We would go back there.
