José has been AMAZING! He is always very polite, always smiling, patient, personable and respectful of the customers’ needs. My family and I always hope that he’s here when we visit this location, and he is! Team members like him make a good place great. By far the best customer service one can hope for at a grill!! And overall this is a fun place to gather and eat at – never disappoints. Will come again and highly recommend to others.

Visited this restaurant on the day after Christmas and it was quite busy. The service was great. The food on the bar looked really fresh, although the tofu was basically one frozen block and could not be portioned out. The bar portion was cooked very quickly, my food came out perfectly, the flavors and textures were great! One person in my group who had lots of veggies said that they would have preferred a longer cook time, but other than that the service was fast and the food was delicious.

I need way more then 5 stars to give this location a appropriate rating. The staff is some of the most friendliest people including the management. The food choices are great cause there is something for everyone. Everything i step through the doors it feels like Christmas morning cause I know I’m in for a good time. Great food, great staff. And I will definitely keep coming here again again.

This is one of my son’s favorite places to go. We went there this time for his birthday. As always the food is good but I need to tell you to put more sauce than you think you’ll need on your food .
If you happen to be someone who has had weight loss surgery and are unable to eat a normal adult amount of food, they will charge you the children’s prices if you can show them a letter from your doctor that you’re unable to eat normal portions .
I also highly recommend joining their HuHot customer program. We ended up getting $5 off our last meal. Just download the app and join.

The service at this location is unfortunately terrible. We waited for almost 10 minutes of waiting to be seated the line began to form out the door. 2 chefs who looked at us confused for multiple minutes with multiple servers also looking at us waiting to be sat. We eventually gave up and walked out. Hire more staff if you cannot accommodate more than 5 customers at a time.

Whenever we are in Ames we try to make a stop here. Everyone in the group can cater their dish to their liking. You can order add-ons, but we never have tried any. The restaurant is clean and the service is great.
