Have gotten takeout here a few times and it’s always excellent. Will always pick Huge Thai over the many other Thai spots in the neighborhood. Sausage fried rice is maybe my favorite dish in the whole neighborhood.

I usually purchase lunch here once a week, and always order the Basil fried rice with medium heat(spice). It’s usually decent and I never complain if it isn’t. Today, I made the usual order and emphasized that I didn’t want it to be too spicy. Am older gentleman later walked up from the kitchen, looked at me, smirked, and returned to the kitchen. I thought nothing of it until I tasted the rice. It was the spiciest I’d ever had it. I couldn’t eat it. The dish tasted like pure chili powder and salt. I called to inquire, and the cashier said “so sorry”. She was in the kitchen when the older man walked to the front. They had also written “medium spicy” on the lid of the rice container. I’ll eat just about anything, but I couldn’t finish this. I hope they had a good laugh.

This some of the most low level food I’ve had in a while. The beef on top of the rice even smelled days old and somehow unsalted, somehow unseasoned. There was zero flavor. The edamame is $7 and is described as ‘salted’ it was dry and even the beans dry. I couldn’t believe how they tasted rubbery. Place as gone downhill I’m really surprised. The old meat was the kicker though. Never will order from here again, there are way too many other options.
