I highly recommend their coffee!! It was amazing. I had their most popular latte, the Hawaiian one. Their breakfast burrito was okay, I wouldn’t recommend it. All of their food items definitely seemed below the bar, but the praline cinnamon roll? Amazing!! The employees were very nice and had great recommendations. Overall, I’d come back just for the coffee, and maybe a pastry or two.

After hearing about hug in a mug from a few coworkers, we decided to finally give it a try. Overall, I would say the coffee is worth it to come back. The food was very middle of the road. I had the salted caramel coconut coffee and was very pleased. It tasted so good. I also got the Asiago bacon egg cheese bagel, and it was a 5/10. My partner got the burrito with salsa, and I thought her food was better. I would come back for the coffee, but probably won’t be getting any food. I would like to try the ice cream as well

We RV all over the United States, specifically 46 of the lower 48; I’m a coffee buff and get everywhere I go, of course I do the 3.50-4.00 a cup chain coffee shops, but I always love to go to the unknown, obscure, and mom and pop places just to give them a try and give them a little business. Saw this HIAM and wanted to give it a try; this place wasn’t here 30 years ago when we lived here, so I wanted to see what it was like. The staff was very pleasant, the coffee came out quickly and at just the perfect temperature, and it was very good, and best of all it was $2. I didn’t try any of the food, but for the coffee it’s definitely worth a return trip/

I’ll drive the distance to get this yummy treat! Try the Hawaiian salted caramel latte iced or hot! And today I had a $5 reward!! They play Christian music and have the cutest stickers representing Christ! I’m a BIG fan!!

Wow “Hug in a Mug” is a delightful trifecta of a coffee shop, bakery, and ice cream parlor, and it truly lives up to its comforting name. The star of the show is undoubtedly their house-made ice cream, boasting an array of unique and utterly irresistible flavors. The “Peacock Pie” is a revelation – imagine two whole pecan pies folded into a creamy, dreamy scoop; it’s an absolute must-try. Their “Brownie Fudge” ice cream is equally impressive, featuring generous chunks of their own homemade brownies, which are also available separately and are delicious in their own right.
Beyond the sweet treats, their coffee is notably well-balanced and satisfying. While I didn’t sample their espresso, my affogato was expertly crafted and thoroughly enjoyable, speaking volumes about the quality of their coffee base. The staff deserves a special mention for their genuinely friendly, kind, and informative service, making the entire experience even more inviting. Hug in a Mug is a true gem, offering a perfect blend of cozy ambiance, exceptional treats, and warm hospitality.

Great customer service! The options are fantastic and they are so friendly and helpful. They have ice cream, food, coffees, teas, baked goods, Hawaiian ice, the options are endless. It’s absolutely worth trying! I’m a coffee enthusiast and this is by far my favorite place.

This is frankly not coffee. The service was great and the place seems cool—maybe their ice cream or pasties are good—but unfortunately their coffee is basically just flavored milk. Like, it tastes fine, but it does not taste at all like coffee. Be warned.

First time to finally stop in after seeing the billboards in both directions along I-75 (which we travel frequently between central FL and metro ATL). What a great treat and a perfect half way stop. The two staff women working this day couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We ordered an Everything Bagel with egg, bacon and cheese and the Hug in A Mug Mocha Hot Grizzly latte, which was a white chocolate with caramel drizzle latte. Both were “delish”. Thanks too ladies, for sweetly honoring our request to cut our breakfast sandwich in half. Shareable. See you next time Hug in a Mug!!

***Be aware if you come there is no indoor seating, but there are several tables to sit at outdoors***

Came here for the first time. Very easy to find.

We got ice vanilla latte and frozen hot chocolate for drinks. Not too sweet like other places, that was I looked for.

We also got breakfast sandwiches. It was hot and fresh.
Friendly staff and warm place.

i recently visited Hug in a Mug Coffee & Creamery at 1688 Norman Dr, in Valdosta, GA. I stopped in recently and purchased a coffee and pastry. The store was nice inside and had plenty of parking. I was greeted promptly and my order taken. The order was completed and we ate our order outside since no space was available inside it was a nice place.
