Have visited this place many times as a resident of Placerville. Came on a Sunday night, went into the place and ordered 2 fish tacos, a #3 and 2 chicken taco meals. I get home and 2 out of the 3 orders were WRONG! Shrimp tacos with zero seasoning (pictures included) and cheese enchiladas with NO sauce. I paid over 50 bucks for this order, SO unimpressed, I will not be returning. I even tried to call the place to let them know, they told me “I need to check the order before I leave”. If that’s the case, maybe don’t tie the crap out of the bag before you send out!!! Didn’t even try to make this right!!!

Great place to try a variety of foods. Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is similar to most fast food places, but the food is better. You have many items you’ll find at other taquerias, but also fresh fruit juices and desserts, ice cream, and other options.

The food is excellent with large portions. Around 7 pm we went through the drive-thru where Rosse took our order, or attempted to. We had to repeat our order 5 or 6 times in between her huffing and puffing before she understood what we were trying to order. Our food was ready fast and after handing us the food we informed her that we didn’t receive the drink, she stated “you didn’t pay for one” we reminder her that we did order it multiple times as did she repeat it back to us. We gave her the card back and paid for the drink we ordered and to top it off she did not give the chips we asked for, that were going to be used with the beans and cheese. She was rude and could care less if the customer was happy or needed anything else but definitely let us know we could leave now. It only take one bad employee to ruin good service or reputation. I hope the owner/manager takes the proper steps to insure that doesn’t happen again.

I came here tonight to get some dinner before I went home. I ordered two chili Riano‘s and two fish tacos. when I came to the window It was about $25 While I was waiting, I noticed that they put it in the microwave. I couldn’t believe it. When they handed me my food, it wasn’t warm. I tested it and it was cold, let alone it was frozen. I came back around the window And I told them I wanted a refund. they told me to give them the food back and took it back through the window. I didn’t think they were supposed to take it back once food is made. It shouldn’t go back inside the restaurant. They told me they were going to tell when I saw them put it in the microwave. I kept the fish tacos and I ate them and now I’m sick. Don’t come here unless you want an upset stomach. They should be reviewed by the food health department.

We didn’t go inside, but we ordered 2 breakfast burritos, and they were amazing. We moved out of state and hadn’t had good Mexican food for 4 years. There are no good Mexican restaurants in our state. When we come back to California again, we are definitely stopping here again.
