Huey’s has been bringing Blues, Brews, & Burgers in Memphis since 1970. Perhaps the most unique characteristics of our locations are the graffiti walls, hometown feel and local live music. Our World Famous Huey burgers have been voted Best Burger in Memphis since 1984. Sundays at Huey’s are traditionally known for live music, including jazz, blues and even a little rock from local and regional groups. At the example of the late Thomas Boggs, Huey’s former owner, giving back to the community is one of our top priorities. We are proud to have donated many hours, monetary support and services for countless community organizations, schools, and nonprofits over the years.

I’ve reviewed good service at this location ONCE.
Tonight was the second time I received an uncooked burger. I was told that this is how they prepare MEDIUM burgers and was told that if I sent it back they would prepare it the same as this. I ate less than half of the burger and had to pay for it.
Last time we were here our server left mid meal.
We have tried repeatedly to give this location business but this will be the last time.

Huey’s in Millington is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! Dorothy and I were visiting her brother and his wife and decided on lunch before heading back to Cincinnati. After finding several other spots closed on Monday, we landed at Huey’s—and what a blessing that was! The restaurant is spotless, welcoming, and buzzing with military folks from nearby Naval Support Activity Mid-South. Our server, Lisa, kept us laughing with her humor and charm while delivering some of the quickest service I’ve ever experienced.
We ordered two Catfish Strips with Tater Tots/Sweet Potato Fries, a Salmon Filet with a Veggie Plate, and a Reuben Sandwich. Everything arrived piping hot and perfectly prepared. The catfish was the best I’ve tasted anywhere—crispy, flavorful, and downright addictive! Greg had the same but with the sweet potato fries. Dorothy loved her salmon, and Jackie raved about the Reuben. Great location, friendly atmosphere, outstanding service, and five-star food at blue-collar prices!

I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff! The general manager Ms. Lisa does a wonderful job keeping all the gears moving and still checks on the customers just to make sure we are taken care of. The servers are on point, Friendly and always smiling they always remember my order! And last but not least the kitchen staff always taking the time and effort to consistency serve delicious foods that keep us coming back cause everywhere else you go you are gambling on if the food is gonna be good or not. If you have never been then go!

Huey’s in Millington never disappoints! The food quality is always excellent, the atmosphere is family-friendly, and the service is consistently great. Even with a larger group, we’re seated quickly and treated warmly every time.

It’s decent, not sure it’s worth the price tag, but not terrible. The chips and spinach dip was nothing special. The chips were as plain as can be, and the dip was ok. Burger was seasoned and cooked well. Potato soup was ok, but not as good as other local restaurants.
We were seated directly next to the servers station and it still took several minutes to get any eye contact to ask for a condiment. I am a veteran and paid for the meal – I was disappointed to find out the veterans discount they give only applied to my burger and not the entire ticket I was paying for. I know not all restaurants are the same, and that’s ok. It just took me by surprise. We will frequent establishments that give veterans the discount on the full ticket.

First time in Millington and my first time at any Hueys establishment! Delicious food, ordered the Steak Skewer Dinner and queso. Our waiter with the red white and blue tie dye (who’s name I forgot) was WONDERFULLY kind and helpful! Amazing service! Definitely recommend!

My 4th location to visit & I’m happy to have another positive review.
The only reason for the 4-star on food was that my shrimp & onion rings came out looking a bit overcooked ( like the oil could’ve been too hot, maybe). The onion rings were not crispy by the time they brought them out. It seemed like they had sat long enough, possibly covered, & their steam had softened the crust. They fell8 apart when I tried to pick one up. I’m pretty certain this is not the norm & and I am eager for my next visit & onion rings.
The spinach artichoke dip was exceptional & the 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed it. The burgers were fantastic & dessert (yes, we did). We ordered a lemon icebox pie slice to go ( homemade, in-house) & their brownie/ice cream (name escapes me). That brownie was luciously warm & yummy!
Needless to say, this location is probably my favorite. I think it seemed more open & and spacious, maybe because we were there after the lunch rush.

My friends & I went for a quick, late dinner pickup. The best part of the evening was the service we received. Our waitress was kind, suggestive, and patient when placing our order and with the questions that we have. I ordered the vegan beyond burger of course and it was fairly good! I was excited about the option simply because it’s 100% vegan and I didn’t have to go subbing the entire burger just to enjoy a meal. I would return if it was for a quick bite to eat.
