I went here and ordered the 5 piece meal and a buffalo chicken sandwich on May 17 2023. On Jun 20 I ordered a farm fresh salad and a Magoo’s sandwich. Both times the order was good. The food was fairly inexpensive and served fresh. Overall they seem to have good service and the food is good for the price

Trying to be objective and positive. The design of the place is trendy. When I walked in, nobody else was ahead of me. A woman was at the register ready to take my order. She was less than happy to be standing there. I ordered the standard Magoo sandwich with fries and a cup for a drink. The total was $12.84. I got my soda while I waited. It was totally flat (despite bubbles). I then switched to tea, the tea was great. When I picked a table , there were 2 of more than 10 that weren’t completely filthy. My food came relatively quickly and it was hot. The tenders were not fresh but not as bad as it could have been. The fries were piping hot. Nothing had much flavor. Overall it was a less than good experience for the money. I definitely won’t visit again. Maybe it has potential. I don’t know.

They used to be amazing… but recently they not only raised their price for their meals but the size of their tender simultaneously shrunk. On top of that the chicken no longer tastes fresh, it’s gamey and tough to chew at times. Don’t blame the workers at all.. its their distributors and management.. buying cheaper chicken but raising cost and making more on the back end… then when you ask for an extra tender because their new ones are literally chicken nugget size, they say no you can only get 4.. extremely upset since this used to be one of my favorite spots. I’ve seen Chick-fil-A give bigger tenders than this…

This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I’d go as far as saying that I actually preferred it to Popeye’s, but this was the amount of fries that came with my order…which unfortunately is quite insulting. And as much as I REALLY enjoyed the burger and would get it again hands down, I was really disappointed by the meagrely amount of fries I came with the order – which wasn’t more than 20 something fries. So I’m torn between a great fried chicken burger, probably one of the best I’ve had, and just not enough fries to have enjoyed the meal as a whole sadly. With so many restaurants and competition around, coming off this cheap with fries is really not worth it. I legitimately believed that someone ate off my order before receiving it. Burger wise however, sweet heat burger was amazing and the coleslaw was fresh and tasty.

This was my first visit to Huey Magoos and I liked the food and service. Shay, the manager was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and the Broward Co tax. I wasn’t familiar with this tax, but Shay explained the tax, her favorite menu items and provided options for my next visit; I will definitely return. The store was extremely clean, welcoming atmosphere and the staff was patient with my grandkids as they were undecisive of what to eat. Keep up the excellent work, you are greatly appreciated.
