We really enjoyed our Dinner at Hudsons Mill. The atmosphere is super unique and cozy.

The restaurant is very cute and spacious. The service was great. The fried calamari appetizer was excellent, the calamari was tender and the fry was so crunchy. The pretzel appetizer was good as well, tasty cheese sauce. The filet mignon was well-prepared but slightly overdone and for some reason sliced horizontally. The roasted pernil had delicious juicy pork. The fish dishes were delicious and the risotto that came with sea bass was very flavorful. The burger and the pulled pork sandwiches were dry however. The side of mac and cheese was bland and not as creamy/cheesy as I hoped.

Cool spot! Super nice hostess during brunch and they were able to easily accommodate our stroller. Service was good, nothing stand out but nothing wrong. Husband ordered a mule cocktail and the ginger beer was flat – they happily remade it but it still wasn’t great. He enjoyed the burger. I got pulled pork nachos – very good except way too much salsa (not homemade and too thick and sweet) and no guacamole. The chips were all soggy from being too wet. Excellent pulled pork tho!

Maybe we went on a bad night, but we were excited to try it out since we live close. My husband did enjoy his entree, me less so. Didn’t get the right side and never was offered a refill of my drink. Had lots of staff pass my table, but only asked how everything was once while well into our entrees, (which for me—pulled pork WAY too much salt and way overdone on the sauce) and then we just asked for the check. It’s very clean and the ambiance is nice, but we won’t be back.

I spent $185 on food to have delivered across the street at industrial arts with my in laws and parents. The food was delivered without utensils and plates, so I walked to the restaurant (which I tipped $15 for a 200 ft delivery) and asked for utensils and plates. The hostess very rudely told me “we don’t have plates, yeah. That’s it. Sorry” and walked away. Fortunately there were four remaining sets of cafeteria-style utensils remaining next to the hostess stand which I grabbed— what did the next party have to do? Eat with their hands? The lack of service was appalling and completely unacceptable and I will never give this place my business again. Can’t believe we all had to eat on crummy napkins for nearly $200 in this economy.

I have to say I am utterly impressed with this place. They’re not many nice restaurants in that area and this is by far the best dining experiences I’ve had in Rockland. My friend brought me here for brunch during the holidays. The drinks were absolutely incredible. The atmosphere and vibe was perfect. We had some yummy appetizers like the French onion soup, brussel sprouts and a Caesar salad. I had the birria sandwich which I wasn’t too impressed with but it was still good. The meat was a little dry and could have used more flavor. The sauce was broth like. I got the truffle fries with it which were awesome. My salted caramel spiked coffee was amazing and so was my apple cider. My friend had three mules which she loved. I would definitely come here again over and over. I’d love to try all the other things on the menu. Our waitress was awesome and she was very patient while we hung out.

Used to be one of my favorite spots in this area for what felt like a high end dining experience. I know there was a change in management, since the food quality has gone down tremendously. Upon my last visit with my family, I ordered the chicken and waffles (my former favorite). What used to be plated beautifully with fried chicken thighs and delicious cornbread waffles was instead eggo waffles and fried chicken slapped on a plate. My mom ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup and was served chunky marinara sauce in a bowl with a sub par grilled cheese. We also got a side of Mac and cheese, which consisted of noodles that had a tiny scoop of cheese sauce ladled over it, and a sprinkle of cold cheese on top. Not even mixed together, or put under the broiler. Very unfortunate how downhill things went here, as I know the previous chef was a CIA trained chef. I hope that this establishment can somehow recover itself to its former glory, but until then my family and I won’t be returning.

Wonderful experience. This place came recommended to us, and it was easy to see why. Creative menu provided lots of interesting and unique choices. No one in our party was disappointed, as all of the meals were delicious. I ordered the Chicken a Limon with Angel Hair Pasta. The chicken was moist, with a tasty lemon sauce. For my first course, I had the Grilled Peaches which was most pleasing to the palate. Service was most accommodating and attentive. Very comfortable and relaxing ambience made for a pleasant brunch experience. Ample parking.

Everything that comes out of the kitchen at Hudson’s is insanely delicious. I’ve eaten here twice now for dinner and both times our meals have been cooked to perfection. Staff is super friendly and the ambiance is both warm and inviting. If you haven’t been yet, plan to go tonight! My recommendations: Apps – Firecracker Shrimp and Crispy Brussel Sprouts & Dinner – Chicken A Limon and Pan Seared Salmon.
