This community staple is quaint and comfortable. Brings back a lot of memories. Plenty of shaded outdoor seating, to eat both a meal and/or desert. I ordered the footlong hot dog & an hot fudge Sunday; I was not disappointed. Thanks, ladies.

Nice little place to grab a quick meal. Stopped on the way to the beach with some friends. I went with the footlong hot dog, the Bellybuster, then split some fries and my wife had the grilled ham and cheese. Everything was simple in a good way. For the Bellybuster I went with cheese, fried onions, pickles, and tomato. The fries were done just right. Now I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way, but coming nearby and needing a meal, it’s worth a stop.

My family and I have been coming to this NJ staple for well over 20 years. We come for the classic food that is always fresh and never disappoints. I myself had the Cuban sub, which was delicious and had a sweet tang to offset the meat on a crisp roll. As always, you have to stop over to their separate custard stand to get a sweet treat to top off dinner. I had the medium brownie sundae. My only suggestion to better this would be to have home made brownies, instead of Little Debbie’s classic topping it off.

Classic walk-up hot dog and burger joint right off the road. Walking up to this place is like stepping back to a simpler time. You really can taste the nostalgia. Stop in and reminisce and finish up with a banana milkshake.

CASH ONLY LOCATION!!!! I’ve been coming to this place since I was in High School. My parents and I would take a drive and stop for a foot long hot dog and/or ice cream. This is a nice little eatery; the staff are sweet and accommodating. The food is good, reasonably priced! If you ever want to test your stomach limits. I suggest the belly buster burger! I am partial to their cheese steaks. Also their cheese fries are a must have! Mind you it’s all outside dining. You can call ahead and order from them making pick up easy. Across the driveway is their ice cream parlor. Soft custard is a summer staple. And they amazing flavors, ranging from the originals, to some more interesting ones. I tried the their creamsicle float! Omg delicious it’s Fanta orange soda with ice cream, hence creamsicle!!! Another must have! Definitely leave the crew a tip for their hard-work! I enjoyed myself.

Fried Wings out of this world. We had some fried mushrooms and corn fritters. This roadside stand, carnival like food, fried food, burger joint, whatever you want to call it, it’s a MUST GO for all you poor souls that got sent to Salem to do your DMV stuff.

Great food and service and very reasonable prices $12 for a large shake and cheese steak. If you’re near the area it’s definitely worth it to stop in and grab something to eat as they do have a pretty big selection for just a little place. Outdoor sitting area was nice as well. 2 things there are 2 buildings the little building is ice cream only and the bigger building is for all the food and probably the MOST important thing about this place is that it’s CASH ONLY.

An hour wait (with no one ahead of us) for 3 things, terrible customer service, not edible cheesesteak and 2 chicken cheesesteaks. $34 for not being able to eat any of it. We will never be back.

First time I went last Monday and they have a huge variety of food.
I ordered a 8 pc nuggets, cheese fries and a large chocolate milkshake…took them a while to give me my food order but my food was good and hot. My milkshake didn’t take long. Be patient because their food.. it’s worth it

Vertical Voyage
This was our first time getting a hotdog from Hodocks! I ended up with a chilly hotdog and my dad with a sauerkraut mustard chili hot dog. Both hot dogs were 10 out of 10. This was the best hotdog we both had in our entire life! We highly recommend this place. The wait is a little long but well worth it! Never had a foot-long hotdog before and was blown away with the flavor and taste! Can’t wait to come back again next time I’m on the way to the Delaware Memorial Bridge!
