It is with a very heavy heart that I am letting the community know we are closing. With the medical issues we are facing and my upcoming surgery, we have decided that the time is right for us to open a new chapter in our lives. I would like to thank the community here in Henryville, Scottsburg, Sellersburg, Charlestown and everywhere in between for all the support you gave us before, through the pandemic and after. We have met many people over the years and some have become like family to us. We will miss the smiles and laughter most of all. Thank you for your patience as we learned the restaurant business and your support over the years. Excellent, home-cooked food, large portions, and served with a smile. We had a wonderful lunch experience here last week. The fried chicken salad is huge and filling. Wonderful selection and prices! Was able to feed my 4 person family PLUS surprising my mother and father-in-law with breakfast as well for around $50 and that was with extras and large portions. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and I didn’t have to wait for more coffee or really anything at all! This will definitely be one of our go-to places for the family from now on!

I had been wanting to try this place so today we finally did. When you first walk in you are greeted with the biggest smile and the most welcoming staff. I figured the food would be good but it turned out to be phenomenal. I got a teeny burger and it makes you never want to have a white castle again. ha ha. My fiancee ordered the chicken strip basket. There were so many fries!! We also ordered a side of mashed potatoes with brown gravy after we were told they were homemade. DELICIOUS!! Our food and drink was under $15. Oh, and the sweet tea is GREAT!! Like what Momma makes. All around it was a fantastic experience with amazing hospitality! We will most definitely be back and we highly recommend this cute little spot!!!

As I drove by on a trip to Vienna, I saw this place and had to stop in on my way back to Louisville. We entered and were promptly greeted and seated ourselves at the counter. We ordered and were served healthy portions and the food was fantastic. It was a very pleasant eating here as the staff was friendly – I would recommend Chris as your server – he just started and is nice! The next time I am back in town – I’m going to stop by for dinner! What a great find!
