Wanted to love it because I love support local dive bars. But, I will say, I have never felt more disrespected in my time going to bars than I did here. We were a wedding party, about 12-15 of us, which I realize is a lot for one bartender, but we were refused service right out of the gate. The bartender told my fiancé, “I was warned about you, I’m not serving you”. We’re not even from here, so I’m not sure how or who “warned” her about us. Then she refused service to me because I was associated with him, although I had maybe 2 drinks before coming here. Then she started refusing service to our entire party, with the exception of a few people. It started getting out of hand and yelling back and fourth, it wasn’t worth our time and energy. Luckily, a super nice patron (the patrons/locals were awesome!) told us if another bar to go to and it was so fun. I understand it’s the bartenders discretion to refuse service (people in our party have been bartenders for 10+ years), but this was on a whole new level. She was extremely rude about it and it really put a damper on the night.
