Stopped here after visiting Mount Rushmore and crazy horse memorial. Average service, average food, nothing too special. I ordered a chicken sandwich which tasted a little bland, but no issues with my meal. The decor is unique, definitely suits the diner look. However, most diners have a bar to sit at for a meal, but as far as I could tell, they do not have one (which somewhat takes away from the diner feel).

What an excellent diner! It really captovates the 1950’s appeal! The food was fresh and delicious!
My 17yr old said that it was so nice that he didn’t even want to sit outside, that you often do not get a chance to enjoy such a nice place inside!

So. Good. Food was delicious and service managed to be friendly and relatively fast despite the place being packed. If you’re not from the area and are a beer drinker, make sure to try Crow Peak Canyon Cream Ale.

Great Cafe. Our Rueben sandwiches were very tasty: although the bottom bread was soggy on one half so had use a fork. A little disappointed in that.
