The 66 diner is great for families great for a first date or even an anniversary. They have a room u can reserve for a large party. And the food is sooooo delicious. They seem to make everything they can by hand. Even home made bbq suace for the chicken tenders. They also have very good burgers and fritz pie ! And dont even get me started on the deserts ! They make fresh pies and the banana spills are huuge!!! I have a family of 6 and we never finish it. I absolutely love this place. So nostalgic!! Everything is interesting and fun ! Even the ladies room is so cool. You need to try this place. Its a core memory for us.

Its a very cute diner and themed very cute with lots of things to look at from the 60s decor to the Pez all around. My burger was pretty good and fries were fresh just didn’t have too many and thought there should have been more.

A quintessential Route 66 experience! The 1950s decor is incredible—neon lights, jukeboxes, and a massive PEZ dispenser collection. It feels like stepping back in time.
Must Order: The milkshakes are legendary. I highly recommend the Pink Cadillac (strawberry and Oreo). The Green Chile Cheeseburger is also a perfect introduction to New Mexico flavors.

The restaurant looks exactly as you’d expect a restaurant on Route 66 to look. The waitress was great, the shake was large enough for three people, and the food was good.

It’s like taking a trip down memory lane, with both the food and the decor. I hadn’t had an ice cream soda in years, but you can get all flavors here, and real milkshakes, too. At night, the outside is fantastic. It’s a great place for a meal, or just dessert. The staff were friendly and super nice, too.

The food and the ambiance are great, but the true 66 Diner experience is sitting on the counter stools watching the waitresses work the shake and float station and eavesdropping on their patter.
The Albuquerque tukey sandwich I had was one of the best sandwiches that has ever graced my mouth. Bits of turkey and green chilies, cheese and butter toasted bread were ambrosia.
The afformentioned ice cream station is a highlight. I ordered a peanut butter and banana shake that came in a throwback shake goblet and 2/3 of my shake in the mixing glass. I also ordered a float that was perfect when my waitress suggested creme soda.
Is there a kitsch factor with 66 Diner? Yes. Does that only add to how delicious and enjoyable everything was? Yes.
