I was in the area for work and searched food near me this spot popped up and has a 4.9 which is rare read a review or 2 that said it was amazing. Its an odd spot cause its inside a deli that also looks amazing. I got the loaded fries which is tenders, season waffle fries, coleslaw and pickles topped with the sauce you choose I picked Dom’s sauce to have it the way they made it to be enjoyed. This is definitely a 5 star spot, chicken was juicy and the waffle fries are seasoned perfectly and are massive which is a big win, no small fries here!!!

From the moment you walk in you’re made to feel welcome from the family that runs both the deli and Howlin’ Dom’s. The family already got five stars in my book. The food however was worth the half hour trip up from Tom’s River. We were craving a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and every place we’ve been to around us has disappointed. Howlin’ Dom’s however does not disappoint. I have a high spice tolerance but I really only enjoy spicy that enhances the flavor not the kind that overpowers it and gives you a 3rd degree chemical burn all the way down(looking at you Broadway & Dave’s hottest options). So I got the hot for the Dirty Dom sandwich. Then I performed a magic trick and made that sandwich disappear in under five minutes because it was so good. The seasoned waffle fries were a good compliment and had great flavor. My wife enjoyed her Hot Honey sandwich as well and has had legit Nashville hot while in Nashville. She gave her thumbs up as well and agreed this is the best in the area. We also ate the apple pie filled eggrolls with caramel dipping sauce…incredible. It wasn’t fair how good they were. I hope nothing but the best for this family run place. Support local and support this place because they serve up quality with decent prices. Next time we go and there will be a next time we have to try to deli food as well. I’m wishing I took home another chicken sandwich with me. That was so good.

The cashier get 5⭐ I do appreciate the few vegetarian options on the menu. The most spicy flavor wasn’t hot enough to my liking but I know the cook tried. The Mac n cheese could use more but all n all pleasant experience. I will try the waffles next time.

No lie, one of the best things I’ve had in a while. I found this spot on door dash and almost mad at myself I didn’t find it sooner. The Caesar wrap was incredible w the waffles fries and I will continue to order from here going forward. The chef who made my wrap deserves a raise it was delicious

Such a cute and cozy place, we were on the go and decided to try it. The food is literally picture perfect and so good! The fries are so crispy! And the batter around the tenders is crunchy despite the chicken being super juicy. The milkshake is to die for!!

We had Garlic Parm waffle fries as well as OG chicken Sando and cheesy hot chicken Sando. Both sandwiches were made medium hot as chosen by us.
The fries were nicely made and stayed crispy/soft during our whole meal.
As someone who had eaten plenty of hot sandwiches, this store’s version of sandwich is too simplistic and unmemorable to my tongue palette. I was not a fan of their in-house sauce either, it tastes like a blend of mustard and chic-fil-a sauce. My standards for hot sandwich are high, which is why I will prefer to go elsewhere in order to satisfy my hot sandwich itch. Everyone else who prefers to simply eat a chicken sandwich can find this store’s sandwich tasty and satisfying.
Chicken is Halal; halal emblem can be seen on the menu. It is convenient, time saving, relieving to see a halal restaurant in proximity to the cemetery for Muslims (after all these years!)
Indoor seating is available although very limited (2 tables) Best to order takeout or eat food in your car.

Nothing much left to say that others did not already say. This place makes a lot of claims about the quality of their chicken and they are not lying. Chicken was absolutely delicious. Both sandwiches great. Fries are great. Cheese sauce great. Pimento cheese great. Wish we had one where I live.

Hands down the best hot chicken around. If you’re craving spicy, they’ve got spicy. It was perfectly juicy and delicious. The apple pie egg rolls are really good too. The staff was very attentive and nice. Great experience.

I never leave reviews, but this chicken goes so hard I have to. This is the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life. You can taste the quality, it’s unmatched with anything else in this area. I’ve never had Nashville hot chicken before Doms, and now I dream about this chicken lol. Dom, I love you man you got a customer for life right here ❤️ .

I visited Howlin’ Doms and while there was a small wait due to everything being made fresh, it was completely worth it! The tenders were incredibly juicy, and the seasoning was outstanding. The young man “Ryan” at the register provided excellent customer service, patiently explaining the flavors and heat levels. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor—what more could you ask for? I’ll definitely be back!
