Fried catfish w/ shrimp Étouffée and dirty rice was a 4.5- The Catfish was perfectly fried and nice and crisp. It was a thick slice and it had a nice flakiness to it, but unfortunately it had that horrible musty, moldy taste that catfish can have.-thankfully, the étouffée sauce helped disguise some of that flavor. If I were to get it again, I would ask for extra étouffée -The shrimp in the Cajun shrimp that was in the étouffée stew was delicious-

The jambalaya was a 4 -good but not something we would reorder- The cornbread was perfectly moist and had a good flavor

The shrimp Poboy was a 5- delicious-A large perfectly fried shrimp with a Cajun sauce and slaw…

The bisque soup was a 4.5 delicious, but lukewarm-

The Spanish spiced spiked coffees were delicious and were made very very strong- we couldn’t even drink half because they hit hard within a couple sips-I like my spiked coffees to be creamier and next time I know to ask for 50% of the alcohol

Very nice atmosphere- We fortunately were there for lunch and were probably only the third customers at that time. Very quick service- Friendly -We will definitely be back

Great experience. I’m glad I stopped here for a quick bite and drink before an appointment I had. I will be back!

I had the tenderloin bites, which were “okay”.
But the real star of the show for me was the Southern Cole Slaw. I’ll be back for that. It slapped!

The atmosphere was very chill and old school bar style. They had a great selection of Rye whiskey, which most bar/restaurants do not. I tried the Long Road Rye, which was good but a little sweet for me. The Kentuck Owl Rye was great. Never tried either before.

And finally Bruno was my bartender/server was very pleasant and attentive. Great conversation. He did a great job and I look forward to visiting again in a couple of months when I come back to the area.

I’m from Louisiana and found the cajun food was very sub-par. We tried the jambalaya, the gumbo, and the voodoo shrimp with dirty rice. The shrimp were good, but besides that nothing else cajun was good. Lot of it tasted strange. Plus, the gumbo was way too thick. It was like a super thick gravy slop. The jambalaya didn’t have nearly enough meat in it and had a weird herby taste. However, Spinach and artichoke dip was pretty good. Really good chips with it.

Phenomenal experience! The dining tables were full so we sat at the bar tonight. Everything was so delicious! From the calamari appetizer, to the catfish and shrimp ettoufee, to the bread pudding for dessert! Plus the bartender brought some fresh mussels out, bbooooyyy I got the meat sweat! So spicy!!

We ate here after a comedy show on Valentine’s Day. We wandered in on a whim for dinner and everything was amazing. The service, food, and atmosphere were all 5 stars. The sweet potatoe fries are worth coming back for on their own. Next time we’re trying the oysters and bar.

The food was amazing, and the prices were pretty good for the area. Our server was very attentive. I don’t like spicy food but I had the Voodoo Chicken Po Boy and it was awesome, however next time I’d ask for the slaw on the side. I really liked the sauce they gave to dip the sweet potato fries in. Would definitely come back here. The menu had a lot of signature Cajun/creole options. The Spinach and artichoke Dip app was great too.

Came in during with my wife on a Saturday evening around 7PM and was seated at the bar as that’s all they had available at the moment. Our bartender/server really made our time there worthwhile. He was incredibly attentive, gave us some great recommendations and just had a great personality. I wish I had gotten his name so I could shout him out on this review. The gentleman with the glasses and beard, whoever you are!

He suggested anything with the voodoo sauce, so we started off with a shrimp appetizer, which was delicious with the sauce. I got the fried catfish etoufee over dirty rice with a side of butter beans, my wife got the chicken poboy with the house made chips. Both were very delicious and satisfying, perfect on a cold night.

The food and service were both top notch. We’ll definitely return! Can’t wait to try more of their menu.

If could give this place 15/10 I would. Perfect all around. The service was phenomenal, the vibe is great, and the food was delicious. Our server Kirk was the absolute best and everything came out so fast. We’re suckers for Cajun food and had been wanting to try this place for ages. It will definitely be a regular in our rotation now. We got the andouille crusted oysters, whitefish dip, shrimp and grits (special), voodoo chicken, collard greens, and key lime pie. Everything was phenomenal.
