This place is tucked away in a shopping center. It is worth the search! My grandkids & I sat at the sushi bar. They are not new to sushi & have eaten there with their parents, so they ordered for me! The Mexican roll is very good, something different. The fish is fresh and the rice wasn’t dry or sticky. Our chef was so friendly and happy – he even let me take a picture of him. I ordered a glass of white wine, but noticed immediately that it wasn’t fresh. Best to skip that and stick to drinks that are freshly opened. The salads with the ginger dressing were so fresh! Sushi rolls are priced reasonably and they have a nice selection. You can’t go wrong with the rainbow roll.

I normally go here 2-3 times a month, and I order the steak and chicken teriyaki or the shrimp steak and chicken teriyaki. It is always fresh and really good. This particular time, I wanted to try a sushi roll instead of ordering from the sushi restaurant closer to home. I ordered the Beaufort roll and it was literally disgusting. I believe the oil may have needed changing.. the salmon was bitter and the avocado was a gross texture. I couldn’t even eat it. Waste of $8; I think that I will stick to the teriyaki!

I ordered the fried rice without vegetables. When I received the rice it had carrots and peas. I explained to the waitress what I ordered, she explained the fried rice has vegetables already and I can have white rice instead. I had to pick out the vegetable because of my food allergy. I am disappointed. Will not visit them again. It is easier to explain before I ordered.

This place is wonderful!! Thought it would be just a typical Chinese/Japanese take out, but the dine in experience is excellent. The husband and wife team are amazing. My wife and I have eaten there only 4 or 5 times and usually get the same thing. She already remembers what we order, as well as our drinks. She balances taking orders on the phone and the dine in guests perfectly. She can be very personal and develops good relationships with her guests. Will recommend this place over sakehouse any day. The lunch shrimp with noodles is delicious and easy on my stomachs versus a lot of other restaurants.

Sushi is probably the best in Beaufort. Decor is okay, place across the road has a better interior. But the quality of the sushi was much better here. Feel like service could have been better, seemed the first waitress that sat us was more concerned with the group that came in after us. Honestly though the sushi and tempura were really good and I don’t have much to criticize. I recommend it to those passing through or those that have been here a while.
