The food is delicious, and there are several healthy options. Portions are large, so be prepared to bring home leftovers. Price is high. The restaurant sometimes looks a little dingy and unclean, but it is clean.

WOW, I eat Thai food from different places all over the South due to my job and the traveling I do. Typically “Thai Spicy” isn’t very impressive but this was legit! The Jungle Curry Pork (Thai Spicy) was incredibly spicy and had great unique flavors (the Galangal root used was amazing). I had to order another bowl of rice to cook things down afterwards. It was worth it. Thanks for not being afraid to bring the heat.

This is, by far, one of the best Thai experiences ever. The food was the best I’ve ever had. I had yellow curry with duck, and it was so amazing I never wanted it to end. The best part is that the portion was so generous that I was definitely full before I cleaned my plate. The other meal was the spicy fried rice with ground chicken and it was also very good. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was so good I considered renting an apartment across the street just so I could have it for every meal.

We have been waiting to try this place for awhile now. We finally went on a Saturday at lunch time. The first red flag was that the restaurant was empty. We were quickly greeted by our waitress. We ordered crab ragoons for an app, They were sitting in grease from being in the flyer when they arrived to our table. Got our entrees and they did not have any flavor at all. Our daughter got drunken noodles and they tasted like butter noodles. They were swimming in butter. Got no refills on our drinks. Waitress never checked on us after she brought our food out. I had to go to the check out area to ask for our ticket. Ridiculous lunch for almost $70. Will never be back.

Holy WOW! House of Thai is EXCELLENT! I’ve been craving curry lately and had to stop in Cookeville. I stumbled upon this gem and just like that – turned out to be the best curry I’ve ever had. I went to the checkout to place a carry out. The 2 staff members that helped me were better than great in providing excellent customer service the guys name was Bryan (I did not catch the females name).. I was indecisive about getting the red curry or the panang curry – I went with the panang from recommendation. My total was $14. From the service to the atmosphere to the food it was all phenomenal!

It’s a good experience…..when they are open, which is few and far between. Most every time I call to place an order to go, they’re listed as “open” on their website but they aren’t. It leads to some very disappointing experiences and they need to do a much better job of communicating their hours of operation.
