I’ve been eating at House of Teriyaki in Tigard for almost 10 years, and I was excited when a second location opened here in Wilsonville. The owner has always been one of the kindest people in the business, and the quality of the food is exactly why I’ve stayed a loyal customer for a decade — fresh, flavorful, and consistent every single time.
One thing I love about this Wilsonville location is that the kitchen is larger, so the menu is even bigger than the original. You can get things here you won’t find at the Tigard spot — ramen, miso soup, edamame, and more — which really makes this feel like a full Asian comfort-food spot instead of just a teriyaki place.
Everything we’ve tried has been excellent. The Kung Pao Chicken is still my all-time favorite — big portions, great heat, lots of veggies, and that perfect crunch. The Sweet & Sour Chicken, gyoza, crab puffs, spicy garlic edamame, and miso soup were all fresh and full of flavor. The kids’ chicken teriyaki plate (pictured) is also a great option if you’re bringing little ones — the portion is perfect.
Another one of my personal favorites is the spicy chicken teriyaki, and if you like heat, definitely ask for it extra spicy. They always get it right.
The food is generous, the ingredients always taste fresh, and the service is just as warm and welcoming as the Tigard location I’ve known for years. You can tell they put care into every dish they serve.
If you haven’t tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. It’s a great addition to Wilsonville and easily one of the best teriyaki spots around. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

Overall: 5/10
Food: would not recommend. Shrimp tempura udon: shrimp was cooked perfectly. Noodles were nice and chewy. Broth tasted like frozen veggies. Veggies were bad. Eggs were hard-boiled and chalky-very disappointing to not get jammy centers. Tossed it.
Chicken teriaki was just ok. Not overcooked, but a bit bitter. Rice was good. Wasn’t a fan of the teriaki sauce.

Delicious food! They made a gluten free steak dish that was super simple but absolutely perfect. I could possibly eat that meal once a day and never become tired of it. Thank you so much for the great lunch!

Best Teriyaki in wilsonville!
The Lunch price currently at $11 is the best bang for buck around here!
This location used to be a different teriyaki place which was not good. Since i assume new ownership and a name change it has increased not only in quality of ingredients used, but quality in whoever is in the back cooking the food!

A mixed bag for a review that’s for sure. This is the only Teriyaki place actually in town so not a lot of options. I’m thinking that if a well run alternative restaurant were to open it would give this restaurant serious competition. Having said this I have a bit of a longitudinal review here. I have family members living near by and I have eaten here a few times over several years confined only to the Teriyaki menu. They do also advertise an Asian Fusion menu. But I didn’t want a burger and was in a hurry for a grandchild’s school performance so I stopped here. My previous experience wasn’t the greatest but thought I would try again. As soon as I walked in the Owner ? Greeted me with a friendly smile and welcomed me. But the air was oily stale and the stainless steel front on the Pepsi dispenser ice loading bin was smeared with oily hand prints. The traditional menu pictures of the offerings were fading away and somewhat difficult to discern. So I the entire back area was large enough but just seemed cluttered and disorganized. Hard to read with the flickering fluorescent lights. There seemed to be a general film over everything. I ordered your basic Chicken Teriyaki dinner. He directed me to a stack of cups to get my water. There was a a free water dispenser with lemon wedge in it but my gut told me not to trust the container. I did get ice and cold water from the Pepsi dispenser. The table was greasy and needed refinishing. I don’t think that In the last 10 years or so I’ve been in here that there has ever been any decorative or cleaning changes. I took some pictures of the dirty table, floors that just needed a good scrubbing, bases of wood dividers that needed scrubbing or painting. I mean it was extensive. Maybe I was just tired and should give it a break but you shouldn’t see the dirty pathway coming from the back area to the dining area. I have a picture to zoom in on that as well. When he brought out my plate he had my napkin curled up in his hand. I was thinking in this post COVD era do I really want to be wiping my face with a napkin he had crumpled up in his hand. Now. The plate of food itself was fresh and hot. And unlike some places the chicken moist and tender. The rice was fresh as was the salad so that was all good. If you’ve been to enough Teriyaki places you know that there is a familiarity with the sauce. This sauce use to be the same but within the last few years ? They changed it and my own preference doesn’t like the current version. They also are using shredded cabbage as salad instead of lettuce now which tastes differently. The dressing was milky translucent and basically flavorless. The serving size was large. It actually appears that there no longer are wait staff to assist and that the owner is managing the floor at all times. This is just my assumption but could be telltale. Another point here is that they actually have pretty decent ratings. Maybe not much done in anymore? Anyway after being a customer over several years and seeing the hygiene changes and subtle flavor/menu changes I just don’t think that I will ever be back again…. Needs a good cleaning !!!!

I hate giving places bad reviews, but this place just wasn’t very good. The Shio Ramen had a burnt flavor to it and the wall paint was uneven (like really patchy). The guy there was nice and everything but it wasn’t worth going to. I hope they improve the decor and the food. We need more Japanese spots in Wilsonville, but I don’t know if this one will survive.
