We recently hosted a Satyanarayana Swamy Vratam at our home with around 80 guests, and we chose House of Saffron for the catering. It turned out to be an excellent decision.
The food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and received wonderful compliments from all our guests. The presentation was outstanding, and you can see it clearly in the photos I’ve added—everything was arranged beautifully and thoughtfully, which added great value to our religious function.
A special mention to Vandana, the owner, who took the entire event very personally and paid close attention to every detail. Her dedication and involvement truly made the event a grand success.
Thank you, Vandana and the House of Saffron team, for making our special day memorable. I would highly recommend them for poojas, family functions, and special occasions. ✨

We recently visited House of Saffron in Mt. Laurel Township for a group dinner of 10, and the spread was incredible! The buffet had a great selection of dishes, and we were all impressed with the variety. The Chicken Chilli Masala and Chicken Butter Masala were standout dishes – the flavors were rich and authentic. The Mutton and Chicken Biriyani was also a hit, with the mutton being tender and flavorful.

The Hot and Sour Soup was a great starter, and the desserts were a perfect way to end the meal.

Compared to other restaurants, House of Saffron’s buffet was top-notch, with generous portions and great taste. The service was also attentive and friendly. Overall, we’d highly recommend House of Saffron for a delicious and satisfying group dining experience

We just had a lovely lunch at House of Saffron. They are offering a Valentine’s Day buffet today. My wife loved the tandoori chicken, it was moist and really well marinated. I had about 300 punugulu with peanut chutney (I am exaggerating but it is one of my faves!). Their sambar has so much flavor. There were so many options, split between two tables, one was vegetarian and the other was non-vegetarian. They had three desserts, coffee, and masala tea.

It was our first time visiting this restaurant and we were blown away by the friendliness of the staff. The restaurant is clean and bright. Be sure to look at the beautiful peacock light fixtures.

Excellent – Quality ingredients, we’ll prepared and presented. Flavors stand out and are balanced. Rice – fluffy and well textured. Bottom line – Fresh.
Tables settings are black plates, silk napkins, black utensils – well thought out and beautiful. Service was great and very helpful. Clean and bright atmosphere, very little decor being new.

Excellent lunch buffet! Good variety of food both medium and spicy heat. Lots of vegetarian options. Staff was super attentive and friendly, we also met the owner who was super nice! Banquet hall looks like it would be great for a birthday party or other event.

Attended for buffet on the weekend at 20$ per adult.

Recommend: veg biryani, raja rani chicken, paneer Tikka masala
Good: chicken tikka
Ok: kadai chicken, chitti gavelu, mixed vegetable fried rice
Meh: gobi manchurian, mixed noodle, yogurt rice

Went for the 20$ buffet, which had a fair selection and a couple of standouts for me.

The raja rani chicken was my favorite with the chicken being moist and the coating being nicely spicy.

The paneer Tikka masala had exactly the gravy I was expecting for Tikka masala.

The veg biryani was flavorful and the rice was nicely cooked.

Some of the other items were a bit lackluster and bland in my opinion, like the noodles were bland and greasy. But it’s good that they have options that aren’t all heavily spiced.

The yogurt rice was not my favorite, the yogurt was very tart and the rice was broken.

The buffet offers a limited and excellent selection of dishes, and everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. I especially appreciated the variety of vegetarian options. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive throughout our time at the restaurant. And the price is reasonable too. I highly recommended!

Stopped by here recently and tried a mix of items ..rawa dosa, plain dosa, mini idly, and mirchi bajji. The dosas were crisp, flavorful, and definitely the highlight along with the mirchi bajji which was fried perfectly. The idly with sambar, on the other hand, was pretty ordinary and nothing much to rave about. Overall, worth visiting if you’re a dosa lover.

Also, swathi our waitress was really sweet and hospitable.

I don’t usually gush about a place, but I was in the mood for Indian and on a whim came here. The food is delicious, the service is timely, the ambience is somehow both lively and warm at the same time, all while being reasonably priced. Absolutely no complaints here. Seasoned lovers of chile pepper beware– if you order very spicy, they will give you very spicy! On a scale of 1 to 5, start at a 3. Awesome place!
