This place unfortunately due to the owners sight has gone down hill. Missing ceiling tiles, the ones in tack are soiled with spots, drooping, stained etc.
This place needs to be cleaned floor to ceiling, repainted and refreshed before it’s tolerable. A “dive bar” is cleaner and that says a lot

Just stopped for a beer because we had an hour to kill. Service is great. Sooper friendlie. Its verie smokie though and clearlie meant to be that way. Good if that’s your thing, but it’s not mine. Didn’t eat anything although the menu looked great.

Wow Lancaster’s county went to house of pasta Saturday about 2pm went in 20 minutes before they figured some was waiting for lunch. A waitress lady said she worked there for 30 years also I think she said she owned it. We I ordered white chicken chili and order of wings extra crispy and a cheese state no sauce, easy on onions. And big draft miller lite. Well beer was warm no fizz I kept quit and dealt with it. Comes chicken chili it was pure water couple pot beans chicken Florida coop was none there no problem. Here come cheese steak. No cheese no onions no sauce dry like it’s old no taste not even salt or pepper look like it was old food. Hay chicken wings here extra crispy nice sauce on the side the chicken tasted like wood very low quality. I grabbed the waitress so call owner told here I been going there for over 30 years and the food was horrible was not edible. She told me no one ever complained her food is the best in Lancaster being a ——- so I told her her taste buds are off she need to taste American bar and grill chicken chili and award winning chicken wing. She was very rude and should retired. My follower I’m done with that place and I suggest you to. ( American bar and grill is were it’s at ) with good service and good food and nice cold beer. As far as the waitress you said as I was walking out u never had customers to tell you the truth retire give it up. Five thumbs up for American Bar And Grill

They appear to have their prices incorrect on ubereats and declined 2 drivers, hung up on ubereats customer service when contacted and then when I the customer called they told me my card was declined but I had a charge on my account and they were less then helpful in trying to resolve the issue. The amount in uber eats was less then what they tried to charge the pick up person by $30! Poor communication with their customers to try and resolve the issues and clearly didn’t want to work with a customer service company whom is to help their business in solving the issue. Canceled the order, never got to try their food and unfortunately uninterested in trying it in the future even in person due to the lack of communication and interest in figuring out a way to resolve the issue. They spoke back and forth amongst eachother with me still on the phone like I was an idiot for trying to resolve the issue and when I asked to speak to a manager the man tried to resolve it with speaking to her but never giving her the phone and when I again asked she said she was no point in speaking to me, just rude and unfriendly I couldn’t imagine sitting down to eat and expecting good customer service. Showed up in hopes of resolving it between then and ubereats customer service and everything smelt like cigarettes. Never agian

This will seem unfair, but my wife and I tried to go here for a date. We tried 4 different doors (only one of which looked remotely inviting) and they were all locked (at 6pm- hours said they were open and I saw employees inside). The atmosphere wasn’t giving us the greatest vibe as it appears more like a late, late night drinking hangout, so I didn’t call or double check but there is no visible front entrance or obvious way to get in, there are concerns.

I’ve been going here over 10 years. But the owner is WAY too much drama and targets her customers instead of appreciating their business and getting to know them. I complimented her and her boyfriend’s sports glasses, god forbid. Then I got flagged for the first time ever in my life, sitting, doing nothing loudly or even standing out in the slightest. Sitting at the bar. (Not an over exaggeration, thats ALL that happended). It’s unfortunate but after 10 years of going here, as much as I’ve loved this place and staff had been cool. Don’t go here. Not worth the drama, feeling targeted and bad vibes. Better night somewhere else.

One of the better bars in Lancaster. Crowd is respectful and give you your space. Bartenders tend to pretty awesome lately. Courteous and attentive. Decent beer, frosted mugs are plus. Take out selection seems good as well. Would recommend if you haven’t been.

Poor service. They have no sign outside saying that they will not serve someone who is wearing a tank top. It is a bar not some fancy restaurant with high class food. The place was dark and dirty. Not to mention it smelled bad as well. The waitress was not even polite about it. Get better seating and cleaner than you can act like your food is to good to serve to someone who is wearing a tabk top. Your a bar not a fancy place. You lost a nice amount today. We had a party of 7 for food. And everyone was hungry. Your lose not ours. Will never come there again and never tell people to eat there.

Our team had heard a lot about this bar & restaurant, so we decided to try it. Our usual team split up of 4 at the bar & 2 in the dining room applied. It was 6pm when we walked in. The bar was very smoky as they had partitioned off the dining room from the bar. The dining area was very nice, and the waitresses seemed a bit slower than other restaurants we visited, but overall they didn’t forget about us.
The 3 in the bar stated the service was slower than expected for a drink, and the team had to ask for menus. Rating 6/10. The food came out as anticipated, and hot 9/10. Number 1 complaint….Smoky! Overall bar experience 6/10.

I love their soup menu and they have incredible desserts. Staff is friendly and helpful. No swearing in the bar, which is a nice change. Hit the beach and order a Trash Can (you’ll thank me) and make sure you don’t drop the F bomb!!
